Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I'm on cloud nine. Today was the start of my 180-day window--for the first part of our split stay, which is not CL. In between getting myself and my five other family members out the door, I was fighting with the WDW website to make ADRs. My wish for Story Book before 7pm on Day 1 seemed impossible, so I made one for 1900 PF HEA instead, as a precaution.
I set up my reservation searches at Touring Plans. At 10:50am, my phone dinged to say the app had found Story Book! But I was at IKEA with the kids, and their WiFi was not cooperating.
Nevertheless, DSS got my email that I sent at 3am last night with my "final" plan (ha!) and called me at 11am (while I was still wrestling with Ikea's WiFi) to say they'd made all but one of my ADRs (too soon for that last one) and my PPO BBB appointment. Story Book, CRT, HEA, PPO GG, PPO BBB all done. Oh, and she noticed the HEA ADR I made that coincided with the Story Book ADR that I requested. Would I like her to cancel that? Please and thank you!
I mean, the weight off my shoulders! The time I won't be spending on the TP app and the WDW website! DSS is my new best friend...who will be tested again if EMMs or a tour that includes SWGE comes available.
CL FTW

Hey girl! So a CM asked if she could make me a drink (I asked for a mimosa)... of course I said sure! So it was called a ‘Grand Mimosa’: it was champagne, OJ, POG juice and Grand Mariner. It was delicious!! Definitely more than made up for not having Riesling!!! Definitely feeling pretty good after two! 😁😁 On my 2nd now! I’m on vacation!!!! 😂
Ooh yummy!

Is the club level lounge for the Yacht Club directly above the check in desk. If not where is it located on the 5th floor. I am trying to figure out what room catagory is the closest to the lounge. My mom uses a cane. Thanks

Here is a link to Touring Plans room finder. https://touringplans.com/hotel_maps/disneys-yacht-club-resort
I believe the CL lounge at Yacht Club is next to standard view room 5168. It also looks like there are waterview, standard view, and garden view rooms close by. I'm only going by research I've done (as opposed to first hand knowledge) as I haven't stayed at YC yet, but will be soon.

Yes, the lounge is pretty close to directly above the check in area & very near the main elevator bank. And as @Mzpalmtree said above, there are some rooms in every category that are near the lounge. You can make a request for near lounge no matter which category you have booked.

Excellent advice above. Just to add, a rough visual of the 5th floor showing the lounge location, CL desks, and elevators.

Checking out of Boardwalk CL today and transferring to GF RPC for the second part of our split stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here and was very impressed with the CL offerings. Cast members were all really nice and lounge was never overcrowded. Even on the 4th! Room, pool, grounds all clean and great Mouse keeping. We will be back! Happy to answer any questions!

Glad to read about your positive review on your stay at BWI CL. I would love to read your review comparing GF RPC and BWI CL if you don't mind sharing after your trip. My family stayed at GF RPC last summer and currently have a booking for BWI CL for next summer for the first time.
Enjoy the rest of your stay at WDW!!

Thank you both. Yes, it is unimaginably difficult...but at least we have something in the near future that hopefully will be a chance to check out from all of this.

It will be nice to get away for some mom/DD time .

Hi, I just wanted to drop a quick hello. I just returned from AKL and the Kilimanjaro Club. We had an amazing trip there. There was plenty of food and we enjoyed the African theme of it. The lounge staff was very nice and helpful. We got a savannah room and it was one of the renovated ones.

Thanks for your review and for all the great pics. Glad you had a great time and enjoyed AKL CL :).

Love the pics, thanks for sharing :flower3:.

Just booked a club access room at Gran Destino for January. Very excited to stay there; the pics and videos looks great to me.

Hope you have a great trip! Have fun with the rest of your planning :wizard:.

Looking for “special” ideas to celebrate daughter’s 7th birthday later this month.

Has anyone had the help of Disney signature services with this? Other than with cake ordering?

We have a BBB appointment and lunch at CRT on her birthday. Fireworks cruise looks interesting, but we can see the fireworks from CR CL each night — not sure how special that will be other than we’re on a boat.

Hoop Dee Doo Revue? Chip and Dale dinner?

TIA

Love some of the special tours at AK: Caring for Giants (elephants ) was wonderful. We are doing Wild Africa trek (my 10 yo granddaughter and myself) . Also have done and really enjoyed the fireworks dessert parties.

Looking forward to the rpc review we will be there is less than a month

Thanks. Will definitely post a comparison review when we return. We have stayed RPC before but Boardwalk was a brand new experience. Definitely not disappointed!

Just want to mention we’ve had kind of bad luck with the weather on our patio days here at the Poly — both days, the pool areas have closed due to storms in the vicinity. Today, for example, the pool closed at 3, reopened very briefly and then closed again (still closed right now). However, I talked to one of the club level CMs, and they easily refunded our rental fee. So don’t let the chance of a storm deter you. I’m still glad we rented today because we did get to use it for the first few hours.

We’re coming off a wonderful 9 day stay- 6 at Poly Club level, 3 at BC. We thought Poly Club level was awesome. Best stay ever! Food offerings vastly improved over past years and always a friendly lounge staff. Beach club club level seemed to have slid quite a bit on food quality/offerings and team there isn’t as warm and friendly. But nice overall stay at both! We did MK fireworks 7/3 from our balcony and Epcot on 7/4 from Spice Road Table. Both were awesome.

How is the condition of rooms at BWI? I currently have a booking for BWI deluxe CL room for next summer. I have heard of great things about the service and offering at BWI and my family would like to stay in the Epcot area for the first time. Deluxe CL room is a lot of $$ but the extra space for my family is appealing. HOWEVER, it has been a couple years since the last refurb at BWI. Green is NOT my favorite color. The green carpet in the BWI room looks..:crazy2::crazy2:. The newly renovated room over at YC/BC looks so good in the picture. Just hope that I won't regret spending all those $$$ on the BWI deluxe cl room. TIA

We did not stay in a deluxe room but we did stay in a regular CL BWI room a little over a month ago. I was also concerned about the furnishings and décor as I had never stayed at BWI before and the striped wallpaper and colored carpet did not appeal to me in the photos I saw. I will say it was nice and clean and was much nicer in real life. I liked it WAY more than I expected. Very charming. I haven't stayed at the Yacht Club yet so I can't compare it to that but for us it was wonderful. The staff was just as great as everyone says. If you are looking for a deluxe room and want to be club level in the Epcot area, I really don't think you have any choice but to go with BWI since BC and YC no longer offer club access with their deluxe rooms. I don't think it's a bad choice and all--especially with the beautiful water/boardwalk view the deluxe rooms have at BWI.

I agree with you, I think the decor at BWI is charming too.:goodvibes
We stayed in a deluxe CL room at BWI last year. It was in nice shape, no problems.
We are staying in one again in Oct. The rooms are very spacious, with a beautiful water view. Love, love the extra special treat of CL at the Boardwalk. :flower:
