Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Definitely! The convenience was unmatched. To walk steps out of my room and have any beverage waiting for me was great. We also did not purchase one breakfast and it was great being able to run to the lounge for something fast. If people were done getting ready at different times, one could go and grab something or come back to the room. It just made things simpler and easier which is always nice on vacation. Now that I have experienced it and plan on booking it in advance, I can work our schedules around the offerings even better!

We love split stays for access to Epcot/HS and MK. I know BWI has some huge followers here, but it would be hard for me to leave BC/YC. I love GF, but I think I need to try RPC next just to compare it to SL. With the "enhancements" to the second floor of the lobby, the experience may be a little different so I will have to see the whole impact. Another place on my list is Poly. I absolutely love the resort. I venture off to other MKs just because I would like the rooms to be updated a tiny bit more, but I am thinking Poly CL in December will be my MK resort. GF is breathtaking at this time, but last December was just so crowded that I think I need a little break and I will just be yet another visitor to the resort. I think I will sneak down the walking path from Poly at less crowded times to take in the tree and gingerbread. The wheels are already turning! I have some bouncebacks already booked from a previous trip, but I have to check CL availability.

RPC, IMO, has no comparison! It’s beautiful & spacious, and there’s an orchestra playing lovely music throughout the evening. I highly recommend during the Christmas season. The food is the same, so if you liked what SL had, you’ll be satisfied. I also LOVE split stays!!! I don’t think we’ve ever stayed at Disney without one! I love the change of atmosphere!

Can you please tell me what was served during the afternoon hours (prior to tea time?) Thanks!

Unless it has changed recently it is typically a soup and then your usual fruits and some other snacks, the tomato with some croutons always seems to hit the spot!!!

All these offerings posts look fantastic!!! I am so excited we reached our 60 day mark for our girls ( my sister and my daughters) only trip to YC CL. First time trying CL but have stay previously at Yacht Club. We are hoping to hit the lounge often because my daughters love Epcot and HS most. So we are booking mornings FP then hitting the pool then probably EPCOT/ Boardwalk most evenings.

Thanks! Some people have mentioned you’re able to make sandwiches, just wondering if that’s still an available option.

I haven’t been to GF in a few months so unless there has been recent changes I believe there is meats and cheese out, I also believe there are typically quartered pbj crustables, I don’t pay attention to those things since they aren’t put by the kids stuff..........:rotfl2:......jk you know my joke about the nuggets .....there is usually croissants I believe also.

If I eat it, it’s most likely by the kids side, or ‘all inclusive’ side, as I’d like to refer to it as. I’d be happy if I could make a sandwich... it’s hard making a lunch out of chips and wine  (although I’ve survived!)

The afternoon offerings were the same daily except for the type of soup:
  • Tomatoes, baby carrots, cucumbers, and ranch
  • Assortment of crackers and breadsticks
  • Panzanella salad
  • Pretzels and housemade chips with a spinach and artichoke spread
  • Salami and turkey
  • Foccacia bread cut into 2 x 2 inch squares
  • Soups rotated (tomato bisque, corn chowder, vegetable soup) with croutons
  • Sugar, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin cookies
  • Animal crackers, gold fish crackers, rice krispie treats, and gummy bears

There was no cheese out besides what was in the panzanella salad any of the three days I saw. Breakfast and dinner both had a large selection of cheese. Breakfast also had prosciutto, ham, croissants, and 3 types of sliced breads in addition to bagels. I made a tiny "sandwich" with some salami on the foccacia which was good. If you wanted a better sandwich, I would take some bread, meat, and cheese from breakfast and hold it for the afternoon turkey and salami. Add a side of chips and that sounds pretty good to me :thumbsup2

Funny you mention the pbj uncrustables. A guest who seemed to be a regular inquired about them missing in the afternoon. She was told they only came out at dinnertime. None were brought out to her. This took me by surprise.

Fabulous! Thank you for the detailed list!!! I can make turkey and salami work (separately, of course). And forgive me for being a bad Italian, but what the heck is a panzanella salad?!!

You're welcome!

I believe from my Food Network watching it should be a bread/crouton salad? lol One day it was olives, cheese, and onions and the next two it was the same mixture with croutons and peppers added in. It could have also had the wrong name card out. I saw focaccia labeled as olive bread one afternoon which I knew was wrong because that is the delicious Citricos bread that comes out at dinner haha

It’s ok, close enough!! I’d probably avoid the salad anyway. I’m more of a chips and Rice Krispies person myself lol Thanks again for the detailed info!

Sorry for the bad pic it’s what I could find quick but this sandwich cheese is what I was referring to, they may not offer it anymore for lunch offerings apparently.

@mickeynut1 THANK YOU, I saved that room number in my notes!
@trishadono , THANK YOU for your maps and photos!
@GADisneyDad14 I read both your reports for NYE and they were very informative!
Now that all y'all have chimed in, I need to decide if we want to stay there or at CR CL. (Our favorite!). Looking at strictly the food and drink offerings, CR wins my vote. But that lovely seating area for the fireworks at Poly is a HUGE draw!!!
Has anyone stayed at CR CL over NYE would be my next question...
I knew if I asked here I worked get the most utd correct info. You guys never disappoint!
Thank you

You're welcome :goodvibes.

I can't help with your next question as we've never stayed CR CL, but I'm sure others will be along to give some opinions/suggestions ;).

I don't think you will regret it at all! Hope you guys have a fantastic time!!

Thank you!! I was already looking forward to it, but even more so now after your review :).

GF both RPC and SL are great also (I have a bad habit in over indulging on the pecan rolls)

Those pecan rolls are my favorite!! :goodvibes

I'm trying YC CL and BC CL for the first time this summer so I can't compare those to BWI CL, but I was blown away by BWI CL! The resort is beautiful and the CL CMs were amazing and while the lounge is a little on the small side, it was quaint/comfortable. If you ever do decide to take the plunge and try BWI, I don't think you'd be disappointed ;).

I think that's a good idea ::yes::.

I just tried Poly CL this past Oct and it was amazing!! The Poly is my favorite resort and CL has been on my list to try for a long time, and I'm happy to say that Poly CL didn't disappoint! RPC has always been my #1 fav, but after trying Poly CL and BWI CL last year, I'm finding it hard to pick a favorite as they all seem to be equally great for different reasons :).

Sounds like RPC is definitely a must.

:thumbsup2

We'll be at YC CL for the first time as well, checking in 6/11. If you're still there, maybe we'll see each other in the lounge. Enjoy the rest of your planning, hope you have a great time :wizard:.

Here are the desserts from our final night at WL CL. We tried both the treasure dessert from the character meal downstairs as well as the s'more dessert and found both to be way too sweet, didn't finish more than a bite each, but we tend to find the vast majority of WDW desserts too sweet so I wasn't surprised.

We arrived home safely late Friday night and had an electrician out Saturday. Thankfully we came home. Basically, our electrical panel is bad and this is a known issue with this brand of panel, the maker is actually out of business due to lawsuits. When we had the failure in one of the outlets it should have turned off that breaker but it did not, good thing we asked our dog sitter to turn it off so we were safe enough, but not something I want to chance. The electricians will replace the electrical panel tomorrow, and then go in each of the outlets on the circuit that failed and figure out what went wrong and fix it. Thankfully, they are bringing me a generator so that I can work. I lost all of the food in my refrigerator and freezer but that can be replaced (I have been cooking up a storm all weekend trying to restock). What really annoys me is that we have had multiple electricians out to the house performing jobs and none of them let me know about this even though they all worked with the panel. The electrician that upgraded our pool equipment let me know that our panel was obsolete, so we wouldn't be able to get parts for it in the future, but that's a far cry from the actual situation that we had in our house, I mean, I have owned three houses and I have yet to purchase parts for our electrical panels so it didn't seem like a critical issue. A quick Google search shows that this is a well known issue, and has been known for a LONG time. The electrician that came out on Saturday even had an entire binder dedicated to this issue that they took out and showed us! Oh well, the house and dog are safe and we can get this fixed.

We will be back at WDW for F&W in September, but no CL, just a BCV/Poly stay (we were able to move our two Poly nights that we skipped on this trip thanks to a great WL CM). Back to AKL CL in January!!!!

I called Disney and there isn't much left under the bounceback I have for December. Reaching out to my TA to see what he can do. I kept BWI on the list. BWI and AKL are the only two deluxe resorts I have never tried and I need to check them off one day :) AKL may have to wait until the refurb is done OR if there is a great refurb discount and cute pins I am sold!

That is so reassuring! I was a little sad on DME that my next planned trip was a quick weekend in the fall for MNSSHP. I think a summer Poly CL trip may be needed. Its my overall favorite resort and "it calls me"
