Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

So much fun. We travel with another family pretty consistently multiple times/places a year for almost 10 years now. There are two other families that join in from time to time. Disney is fun period, and so much fun with friends. We have the best time with our group.

We did get shushed one night having too much fun in the third floor Poly lounge. :rolleyes1
Lol we got kicked out of the lounge at poly on 7/3. They wanted to clean and at 10;30 said it was time to leave.

It was a few dis buddies of mine and myself. Good times

Does anyone know what room numbers have bunk beds at WL CL? My kids would be much happier in bunk beds and I'd prefer to request a specific room number so I stay on the Magic Kingdom side vs. the courtyard.

At the Poly Club on my resort day. Relaxing with Bud Light and Longboards in a fully stocked mini fridge. It's 90% full but people come and go so never feels super congested or loud.

Hope this helps you guys. Now back to the second half of my vacation ! :)

Thanks for taking time out of your trip to post about your stay. Glad you're having a great time! Enjoy the rest of your vacation :wizard:.

As mentioned previously, my family and I got spoiled with the upgrade to the Grand Suite, Room 4001 in the Main Building, at GF.
Here are some pictures to share with you all.

Great pics, thanks for sharing :flower3:.

I don't know the room number at WL but I had luck using TouringPlans to request for a bunk bed room at AKL back in 2016.
You can also email DSS requesting for a room with a bunk bed instead of requesting for a specific room number.
My kids loved the bunk bed at AKL. Wish you luck!!

Just booked a quick weekend with DD (almost 7) to visit MNSSHP for the first time October 5-7, and we chose CL at the Contemporary to take advantage of the walking path. This will be our first Contemporary stay (having stayed at GF RPC, BWI CL, BC CL, and the Poly CL before...slight addiction:rolleyes1). Any tips or feedback from people who have visited the Atrium Club recently? I'll definitely report back post-trip with how it compares!

Then it's back to the Poly CL for our annual post-Thanksgiving trip and MVMCP... and back to the BWI CL for a garden room with DH for F&G! Lots of great trips ahead!!

Honestly, it would be a better idea to what explain exactly the type of room you want on your request instead of the room number.
Should always use descriptive words so they know what you want in a room. If you use a room number they won't have any idea it's Bunk Beds you want, if the room isn't available. Since, more than likely that specific room isn't gong to available. Your best option to get a room that fits your request is to give them the widest range possible.
So telling them ANY bunk bed room out of ANY of them on that side is the best way. Hopefully, they can find a room, out of all of them in that category, that is open for your stay.
While you are sending the request, tell them too, what is higher priority, bunk beds or location.
That way, if they can't fill both requests, they'll know which to fill. Bunk beds or Wood view?
Would you rather have Bunk beds and give up Woods View or give up Bunk Beds and keep Woods View?
If it's Bunk Beds no matter what, word it something like this
We would like a Bunk Bed room. Woods facing if possible.
or if it's Woods facing no matter what it would be
Woods view room, Bunk Bed room if possible.

Does anyone know who to request rooms from at the GF club level. Last visit I planned an in room surprise for my son which was ruined by needing a room change due to the view being not-as-booked (it was a very obstruct MK view) and I want to prevent it happening again!

I emailed Disney Signature Services with my request, as well as using TouringPlans room request fax service. I have shared my experience a few posts back and I am not complaining with the room I got... Wish you luck!!

Thank you!! I did mention it on the phone to with Disney Sig Services but I will drop them an email to make sure I tried my best to get it through to them!

I don't have any tips as we've never stayed CR CL, but I would be interested in hearing your thoughts after your trip as I'm considering booking CR Atrium Club for a few nights in December :).

There is shocking little available Columbus Day weekend- I was hoping for one of the discounts to work but I think we were lucky just to find a room! Hope you're able to find something! :)

Thanks! I'll definitely have a report when we get back. I'm excited to try something new, but it's always tough to break away from old favorites. :)

We stayed CR Atrium CL in May. We really enjoyed it. The CM’s are very kind and helpful. The lounge seemed to be a bit busy in the morning (as I think most are), but that is the only time we noticed it as such. We were there over Mother’s Day and they left a “special” treat in our room for me and had special Mothers Day desserts in the lounge. Food and drink were always plentiful and I did not notice a time where dishes were empty. We had a few room issues over the 8 nights we were there, but all were dealt with quickly. We had a standard room, so we watched the fireworks from the lounge balconies at night. LOVE the walking path to MK. Hope you enjoy your stay! This is one of my fave resorts!

No expert here but I do pay attention to room info/sources and I think you may have trouble coming up with a comprehensive accurate list. TouringPlans has the best room data out there, but it's not perfect when it comes down to bunk bed data. You'll be at the mercy of random reports of room numbers around here, I'm afraid.

You may want to consider a more generic request - "a room with bunk beds facing north towards the MK" or something like that.

Good luck!

I have a soft spot in my travel heart for CR. My parents took us to Disney probably 3 times as a kid - we always stayed in a pop-up camper at Ft. Wilderness... but I have vague memories of being in awe of CR, the monorail, and the whole aura of the place as we'd pass by.

Later in approx the middle schools years we stayed one night there. All I remember is the arcade. :-)

Anyways....staying there as an adult - with my own kids - is a sentimental thrill. There are some things about CR that aren't exactly my favorite - the pools aren't as younger kid friendly, the high-tempo jazz music gets on my nerves after awhile, the elevators can be slow - but that view from the Atrium Club windows overlooking the MK and Seven Seas Lagoon gets me every-single-time.

Atrium Club itself doesn't have as abundant a spread as many other CLs, but what they do offer has always been tasty, nicely prepared, and fitting of my expectations.

I have always had really, really good CM experiences at CR - more so than any other CL in our travels. I have often left with a feeling that they just "care" more than some other CLs. Obviously that can come and go in a shift change - but CR gets really high marks from me when it comes to CMs. Like I said, CR isn't my favorite resort - but it's the other things that make me want to go back.

Sorry, way more than you wanted and I'm rambling - I just like talking about CR. These are a year old, but this was from our last visit: CR Atrium Club - Sept 2017

We have usually done CR sometime in the fall for a MNSSHP trip and it's looking like we won't make it there year, which I'm kind of mad about! Hope y'all have a great trip.
