Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Do the Contemporary Club level rooms get the AP discount ever? (As opposed to being excluded because they are so popular, etc.)
I got mine on AP rate.
I booked back in October at rack rate then when the AP rate came out, my TA had them switch it.

I booked CL standard (because my daughter wanted to watch the sunrise) and its about $524/ night

Help! My family is staying at the WL CL in just 2 weeks. Yay! I was looking over MDE and on our first day,my husband is not assigned to any of our Fps (so weird!). Is this something the IPO can help me with? Thank you!

** update, I was able to fix the problem on my own, but still curious if they could have helped

Yes.. We added my mom to our reservations and IPO added them to all our ADR

Eta.. Oops, read that wrong, but IPO has done that for us too.. Because we have AP's and mom buys a ticket when we get to the parks

Here are some photos from CR Tower Club (14th floor) I took in October. I hadn't posted them here yet because I've always had issues posting photos for some reason, so here's hoping they'll show up. These were taken at night, so the lounge looks darker than it normally would. It's very bright and welcoming during the day. I'm also including a photo of the fireworks view from the lounge's balcony. The balconies on the 14th floor are significantly larger than those on the other floors at CR, including the Atrium Club's on the 12th floor, so there's plenty of room. I rarely saw others in the lounge during the entire week we were there. Even at peak times you'll likely have the place to yourself most of the time. It's very lovely.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing :).

Yes, CR CL rooms have been included in AP discounts. With that said, like with other discounts, whether or not they are included depends on occupancy and how many rooms Disney needs to fill for that particular time frame ;).

Help Please!!! I have a opportunity to book BC CL for our May trip. I am using at CM's friends and family discount. It is for 40% off. The room for the week is $3500. It's also a lagoon view. We always stay at the Poly (standard room) so this is new to me. Is this a good deal. Suggestions please!! Thanks!

I would always take a deal! :)

You can go to the main Disney website and run a price check without the discount, just make sure you enter the same dates and room category. That will verify the discounted amount.

It would depend on how many days to tell if it is a good deal..5 days? 7 days?

Then that is an excellent rate.. Less than Fl resident rate!

It is 7 nights 8 days.

That's a great price! I plugged in random dates in May for 7 nights and the total was just over $5800....so $3500 is a great deal :thumbsup2.

We are staying CL at GF in just over two weeks. Couple of questions, and I apologize if these have been asked, I tried to read through most of the comments.
I know they no longer carry bottles of water but they do have filtered water available, correct?
Beer and wine is listed on the schedule from 5-7, however can you grab a beer from the fridge at other times of the day, like is it stocked in there with the soda?
Also, can you access it anytime between the hours of 7-10 or only when they have special offerings available, meaning if it's in between a time can I go in and fill up my water bottle, grab a soda, or grab a beer?
Thanks!!!!!!

The lounge area is not closed between service. GF does provide bottled water if you ask and at the end of the evening they stock the remaining bottles in the lounge cooler. Filtered water is also available, please ask a CM to fill your container from the back due to Health Dept. regulations. The beer/wine/cordials is not self service but you can ask throughout the day and they will happily get it for you. You may also ask to take one to your room but for beer you will need your own bottle opener. Soda is always available in the lounge cooler.

I will note that on different visits we have seen the beer stocked in the cooler. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, no rhyme or reason. YMMV.

We will be staying CL at the CR later this year. Do any of the resort Club Levels have water bottles in the lounges? Thanks.

CR CL- October 2014 Yes by request
Poly CL December 2013 NO
WL CL December 2014 NO

YMMV, and this can change at any time. These are just our most recent experiences with the CL lounges. All CL's will have filtered water that can be used to fill your own water bottles.

Recently back from an akl club level stay just before Christmas. Wow.

Some highlights
Mango tarts are amazing! My fav thing to eat there. And the spicy Durban chicken with sweet corn thing.
Seeing Neil Patrick Harris every day for breakfast was pretty amazing. Hubby chatted with him
CM's Brian and Andrea (andrea has since moved to Disney springs). Wow just amazing people! Really Made our trip special
We were 6 nights club and then 13 nights in a value (DVC) we were given lounge access for the extra 13 nights! Originally planned to do value first but ended up there over thanksgiving so swapped it round to spend more time at the resort during the busy time. Glad we did now.
We took a Christmas sized box of chocolates over for the CM's and they were gone in less than an hour haha will take more next time!

Only downer was we were in a pool view room and I really didn't care for it, we do try to stay away from pool views when we can as we find it noisy. We could have moved but it was only 6 nights so we chose not to. The aircon or extractor fans (not sure which) were really loud. We kept the doors shut most of the time to keep the noise out. But tbh we were in the lounge a lot so it didn't make a huge difference.

Cannot wait to stay there again!

Wow, sounds fabulous! 19 nights club lounge access! How did they happen to give you lounge access the 13 nights you were in the value room?
That is cool that Neil Patrick Harris stayed there and your hubby visited with him in the lounge in the morning.
What a nice long trip.
