Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

This is nice to hear that it wasn't that crowded. Lorenzo and Jackie are the nicest cast members! The entire BWI CL cast members are just wonderful. That's just one of the reasons that I love the BWI CL so much and I am just worried that by adding the extra rooms they will stress the staff too much. Years ago we loved the GF CL but decided to change to the BWI due to a bad experience at the GF. The cast members for that visit seemed so frazzled and were really overworked and it showed so we switched the next time to the BWI and fe in love with that resort. Our next trip will be a split stay between the GF and the BWI since we wanted to stay near the MK for the start of our trip. We did look at the Poly but couldn't get any discounts that were big enough to entice us to stay and a good AP rate came up for the GF.

Thank you for your review! I'm checking into CL on Nov 7-11 for my 25 anniversary with DH.

Hope you have a great anniversary trip! :wizard:

can't wait to check in on Nov 7! I have requested a room close to the elevator with boardwalk view if available, and know it's just a request, but hopefully we will be dusted with a little pixie dust for our 25 anniversary trip

I hope your requests are met and you get a great view/location :goodvibes.

GF/BWI is a nice split. Hope you have a great trip :).

We check in next Wednesday at BWI CL - Let me know if anyone wants pix of anything while I'm there. As long as I can figure out how to post them on here, I'll be happy to oblige :)

Have a great trip! :) I'm always on the look out for anything new. :D

All the times we've stayed Club Level at CR and we've NEVER checked out the snacks at supper time. Just read your list to DH, we'll definitely check out supper snacks at least once during our next stay!

Do they have bottled water at the CR lounge?
I can't speak for Atrium Club (12th floor), but I just got back from Tower Club (14th floor) and there were big bottles of Dasani left in our room every day that were complimentary. They were replenished without us having to ask. There weren't any in the lounge area itself, you had to ask for them. It makes sense, since I'm sure if they just put a bunch of bottles in their little lounge fridge they'd get cleared out immediately. We went down to tour the Atrium Club lounge one evening, as well, and I didn't see any bottles out there either. I don't know if Atrium Club rooms have the Dasani bottles in them each day.

Previously, I've read on here that the CL lounge closes at certain times of the day. Is that still true?
Depends on where you're staying! Wilderness Lodge's lounge does close during the middle of the day, but only for like an hour or two. Both CR lounges are open, but are only staffed until around 10pm. After that, they put up the alcohol and food but leave plenty of drinks in the fridge you can take. WL's lounge is set up differently and actually has doors that lock at night and during the setup for evening apps. A lot of the other CL lounges (CR, GF, Poly) are more open and have no doors.

Those of you who are just getting back from your fall Wdw vacations, let me know if your resort offered text messaging services. And if so, was fastpass available via text? This is probably the question I get asked the most and I want to keep our information as up to date as possible. Especially with the Christmas holidays coming. :)
Thanks!!!!
We did at CR Tower Club. The CM who checked us in gave us an info sheet about it and said we could text them for extra fastpasses any day we wanted.

I had club level for the first time at BC, i was very excited as it was given to me, i did not pay for it. I realized at the end of my stay it would not be something i would ever pay for,it is basically little" free bees",like tiny slithers of bread that are two small for the toaster and such like. It was far nicer sat outside in the sunshine eating breakfast than in a boring stuffy club room" Sorry only my opinion i know". The day i arrived at BC my grand daughter was so excited about having her magic band with her chosen color like the yr previous given in a lovely gift box, but even though i had an email saying my bands were waiting for me at resort, concierge said "Oh dear they may have gone to YC by mistake"!.They gave us three of the grey magic bands& said they would chase this. We were all maybe stupidly disappointed. They never did sort this so i went to front desk who sorted it straight away. I think it was the only thing i had asked of concierge & they didn't deliver !!

I would have been disappointed they didn't track down my bands too. Glad you got them.

Cl is great for some and not for others. I would go every time if i could. Mainly because I am such a light eater and don't like to wait for food to be prepared. My mom, mil and dd loved it but dh is meh and my son just likes the cookies and chips and drinks:drinking1

I don't pay full price for it which helps too. Usually passholder discount or a stacked orbitz discount. With only $50-100 a night more i love it but more than that and I will buy my own magic.

Do the lounges ever open up a couple minutes early? One morning we have plans to head out for the day by 7:00 a.m., but would love to swing through the lounge and grab a muffin and cup of copy to go.

The BWI CL always has coffee at about 6:30. They start bringing out the breakfast stuff closer to 7:00.

You can definitely get coffee early, for the muffin you'll have to ask a castmember to grab one for you because they won't be out until 7:00. It's not a big deal, I ask them for things all the time when the lounge is closed.
