Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

When are you going to WL? Its going to be a huge construction zone for awhile and those deluxe rooms will be directly in front of all of it, since they face the front of the resort. We are DVC too and have stayed at AoA and liked it but we have small kids that thought it was amazing. I dont think you'll be let down, the rooms are nice and the 2 full bathrooms are great. Think of it as a studio with an extra bedroom.
Thanks for the heads up. We go December 5 for a week. I'm sticking with art of animation. I can't justify the cost wl would be. Our kids are 6, 6 and 11. I'm sure we will have a great time.

a few CL questions - is it considered 'rude' if i filled up the kid's sippy cups with juice? or our own bottles with water? how about if i grab a cookie or other snack to take to the room/pool/park? I wouldn't plunder, promise!! Could I bring a cup of wine/beer back to my room to enjoy it there while the kids slept? I guess my bottle line question is - is it appropriate to leave the lounge with goodies?

Yes, you can take goodies (food, drinks, etc) out of the lounge :).

I totally agree with Trish!! You can take whatever you want back to your room as long as you leave some for other guests:) We always take snacks to the pool (even wine in to go cups) too. Some resorts (like GF) have Dasani water bottles, but others, like BC do not, but the CMs will fill your water bottles for you...they have a special device in the kitchen similar to those found at airports. Otherwise, I think you can fill your own sippy cups like Trish said by first putting it into another cup and then pouring into yours. Many CLs do have juice boxes, and you may have to ask for them depending on where you are staying.

At the Grand they gave me a tray to take items back to the room to consumer during nap time and my son's early bedtime. :)

After a whirlwind 8 days, 7 nights at the Boardwalk CL Standard, we've come to the conclusion that while the amenities are great, we just didn't take advantage of all there was to offer. I'm sure others will disagree, but just wanted to offer up our experience.

Our room was 4270, and outside the Club entrance. We had a very nice view of the gardens below, and could see Illuminations over the treetops. I liked the space of the room, and the couch/pullout bed, even though there were only two of us, it was nice to sit on the couch to read the paper or put your shoes and socks on rather than the taller beds. Beds were wonderfully comfy - and I wish I could have smuggled home those luxuriously soft pillows!!

We did hit the lounge for a quick breakfast before going to the parks, which consisted of oatmeal, meats and cheeses, lox and bagels, pastries, hard boiled eggs, some fruit. There was coffee, juices, yogurt cups and dry cereal also available. We were able to get back some days to take advantage of the appetizers and wine. Unfortunately, we found the selections pretty much the same every time we peeked in for the late afternoon dinnertime, (usually potato soup, meats and cheeses, a veggie dish of some kind, and breads, maybe a rice or pasta), with 2 white wines and 2 red wines. The desserts offered later also a little ordinary. Not a fan of the PB&J jellyroll, and that seemed to be a constant selection, and otherwise, most of the choices seemed "out of the box" types of cookies and sweets. Cordials were tasty, but limited in selection, (I think 4-5 different types).

Turndown service consisted of someone coming in to the room, and putting the pillows in a different arrangement, slightly adjusting the covers back, and leaving a couple of salt water taffies on the bed. If we were back in our rooms at that time, we preferred to not have the service, and just left the "Privacy" hanger on the door. General Housekeeping did well, but then we always straightened up our room before we left for the day. One day, there was no new coffee left, and the glasses and cups were not cleaned.

The CL check-in upstairs was great, and all the cast members we encountered were very friendly, and ready and willing to help in any way they could, but for us, and the way we "do Disney", I really am not sure the extra cost was worth it for us. I'm glad we did CL this trip, but I doubt we will do it again.

Next trip is in December in a Standard BWI room, so it will be interesting to make the comparison then.

At the poly now enjoying GV CL. It has been wonderful so far. So glad we splurged for club level. We are getting spoiled here!

I can't wait to hear about your stay. We are staying GV Club level in Dec. How's the view? What floor are you on? We requested 1st or 3rd as we want an outside place to sit. Can you tell me if they have hard boiled eggs there for breakfast? and do they still have nesquik bottles of chocolate milk? Have a great time.

We are on 3rd floor garden side. Our view is not bad at all. Yes, there is some construction but honestly - not an issue at all. And I am definitely one that was worried about that. I would much rather be on third than first with a direct view of the fake palm tree tarp. We have lots of foliage covering up the construction. The below picture is actually the most unobstructed pic I could find. The view from the other side of the window and deck looking towards the pool is much more covered with foliage. Also to be honest, we have spent a ton of time in the lounge just relaxing with a beer as it's nice to have that option to relax outside of your room. image.jpeg

Finally, they do have hard boiled eggs out in the morning. Eta: haven't seen bottles of chocolate milk though. We have been really pleased with all the offerings this far.

Why hello neighbor!

We were in 4263 just down the hall, but still outside the club entrance. I do agree with the items - being the same exact items day to day was a bit...boring. I was happy with the breakfast selection though - I made bagel or croissant sandwiches each morning.

Do they limit the number of drinks in the evening?
No:) Supposedly, they added the "bartender" service to make sure no one drinks too much, but I have not seen anyone get "cut off" while we were there...but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen...they don't want one person to ruin another person's vacation (and that's fair)!

Can't wait. We prefer 3rd too. Thank you!!! BTW our children are exact same age as your except 2 boys. I know they will love extra spot to hang out other than room.

I'm almost positive this has been asked before--in fact I think I'VE actually asked this before. Apologies in advance! :) We have our first CL stay next month. If we purchase items in the parks (let's be real, this will undoubtedly happen) will our purchases later be delivered and dropped off directly in our room? Or will we have to go pick up our purchases ourselves in our resort's gift shop? Any insight or recent experiences you can share is appreciated!
