Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I didn't realize that there were CL rooms that didn't have a full balcony... What category (view) do you have? We are booked CL at the BC and I'm wondering if the balcony could be an issue for us. I'm glad you have a room that you love -- enjoy your trip! :)

There are several rooms on club level that don't have full balconies.

It's a service some CLs are offering where you can text them after you've used your first 3 fastpasses to get a 4th. This avoids standing in line at the kiosk to add one.
People got confused because around Easter vacation guests were able to book a 4th in advance, and that just wasn't club level guests because I booked a 4th on the app and we were staying at Kidani. It was just an Easter thing.
Thanks Erika, I can always count on you to respond!:) I don't know why they don't allow you to use the MDE app.

Arrived at Beach Club yesterday. Checked in, room ready 15 min later. Beautiful room but wanted full balcony. Cast member called, got us a room we love. It messed up our magic bands but nothing too bad so far. Staff has been really helpful and friendly. They let us bring niece and her husband up to the lounge this morning while we got ready. Kids like the meats and cheese added to breakfast. Potato chips are awesome in the afternoon. Desserts were good, but same yesterday and tonight. Looking forward to another great day tomorrow!

Glad they were able to change your room! Sounds like you're having a great time :wizard:.

This was breakfast set up this morning. The Nespresso machine is at the old coffee service area.

Regular coffee service is on top of the fridge and dry cereal and milk is on top of the other bar area where they serve alcohol during the evening (unattended). Last night, there were 4 wines--two reds and two whites, which was one more than usual (addition of a Pinot Gris).

(Hope these aren't huge since I'm on my phone.)

Yay for bottled waters! I am happy to see that. Did they have any kind of sparkling water? Two years ago at the YC they had large bottles of Perrier out. OH I just saw the Pelligrino.

To add to the BC CL balcony discussion: we hoped to avoid getting a Juliet balcony by booking a deluxe room this go-round, and we got one of the only 2 rooms that had the Juliet balconies despite multiple request through our TA and via the IPO for a full sized balcony. We didn't complain, but it was frustrating to pay what you pay for those rooms and have no balcony. I believe all of the standard view CL rooms should have a full balcony since they face the parking lot.

Yes--big bottles of sparkling water were stocked last night. I'm sure they're available anytime by request.

Great pictures! I'm impressed that they have Simply Orange juice...too bad our kids aren't coming with us on our BWI trip because they love it! Thanks for taking the time to post the pics. Please post more, if you get a chance:) Especially food pics!!

Nice! I wish the BC CL had bottled water. They also didn't have this many drink offerings in the refrigerator. This set up looks much nicer than the one at BC.

Are the self serve refrigerators the new norm now CL? I've never had any orange juice because its always been in the big self serve drink dispensers and after seeing the 20th kid pick trash up off the floor, wipe his nose, then get a drink from the dispenser well.... it kind of turns me off to the idea of drinking anything that doesn't come out of a single serve bottle!!!

So usually I take cans of pop or they have boxes of apple juice if I asked but if I can get OJ sing a single serve bottle CL now that would make me very happy. My most recent stay was Boardwalk and next trip is Sugar Loaf at GF.

We have a lagoon/pool view. First room had a standing room balcony that ran the length of the room. We could have had all 4th us (adults) stand side by side on the balcony but we are slim people and that was about all of the room there was. The room we have now has 2 chairs and a table. It isn'the 1 of the large balconies but 2 of us can sit and the other 2 can stand. We can see the high fireworks at Hollywood Studios from our room.

Thanks for the info. We booked a LV CL room at the BC last time because they (IPO) told me that all the rooms in that category had full balconies. It's good to know that that is not the case...

ETA: I booked a GVCL room for the first time. Does anyone know what kind of balconies these rooms have?

I think the new norm is a combo of self serve from the fridge and communal dispensers. Each CL we've been to (all except WL and AK) has different offerings in the dispensers and the fridges. BW has a nicer drink selection than BC, but I think BC has more and better food offerings, for example.

Thanks for taking the time to post your pics :).

Is the FP texting service available at AKL? If it is then it's worth us getting a phone we can use in the US just for that!

I believe someone posted on this before but now I can't find it. Has anyone shipped to BC from Amazon Pantry? I know this is club level thread but there a still a few things I would like to keep handy in our room.

I haven't shipped anything to myself before, I've only done WeGoShop. Sorry I'm no help with that.

We got one of the Deluxe CL rooms with two Juliet balconies last year. It was on the third floor, overlooking the quiet pool. We really loved the size of the room and were really happy with it. My DW and I are definitely balcony people, as we like to spend quiet time each morning and night relaxing out there but we really didn't feel like we missed it too much. The Deluxe CL rooms are great!!

You will love BC CL!! It is one of my DD's favorites and the new rooms are amazing[/QUOTE

Thanks! We have been lucky enough to stay at the BC CL each of the last 10 years and we absolutely adore it!! Last year they were doing construction on the new area so the lounge was moved down the hall to the Suite. It was the second time that has happened to us in the last 10 years and it wasn't a disruption at all. I've seen pics of the new lounge and we can't wait to see it in person! Looks so much more spacious and I love the color scheme!!
