Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

It must've been "Question your decision to stay at the Polynesian CL", because I went through the same thing! Now I'm happy again about it and looking forward to being back to my happiest place at WDW.

And I think that if they do take the ground floor garden view rooms out of inventory, it's a good thing.

I'm staying too! I was worried about all the negative things I've been hearing, but after more thought, it just seems like a better location for us (we have three little ones and will be at MK the most). So funny that three of us had the same fears and made the same choice! Fingers crossed we all have a blast!!

Ok so, the CM I talked to at check in must have been mistaken. The CR (tower club is all i can speak for) definitely does have the texting service! I was able to use it today. They ultimately weren't able to get what I wanted but here is a text message screenshot showing it exists. It's worth noting that the names of people I texted weren't anyone I met up here at the tower club so it might be handled elsewhere which would explain them not knowing. Hope this helps clear up some of the confusion!

Last August dd and I had a split stay at cr and gf both CL. We had the texting service but we either didn't know we could use it for FP + or that wasn't available then.

We did use it though! I needed a late check out and did that request from the room while still in my Jammie's out on the patio listened to the sounds of MK. Much nicer than standing/hovering at the cm desk waiting for a turn.

We asked a few questions and kept getting Janice. At gf I saw a woman get off the elevator with name tag Janice and askedif my texting buddy??! Yep! At that time she said they were doing the texting from gf for both resorts.

I didn't want my review to make people sad. I was trying to enlighten people with the current situation so they could make informed choices.
I am, by far not one of those people that lets little things bother me. I have seen those people at the concierge desk making a stink for some small thing and letting their blood pressure escalate and get them all buggered up.

Our trip was amazing because I was with my girl after not seeing her for a week at camp.
We were at the resort where she had her first trip.

My review was to help people understand the "state of the resort" so they would have realistic expectations.

We go to Disney every other month, so we have a much more relaxed outlook for our trips. Only people know themselves.. If small inconviences bother you or not..I am just trying to let you know up front.

It wasn't just your review either. Tons of people have been unhappy with the food, but again, being prepared for that, I (hopefully) won't be disappointed. We decided to stay at the Poly primarily for the views and the location, and even with other possibly crummy parts to the resort, those are still most important. I'm sure the rest of my family won't even notice anything is off...it's just crazy planner me, tying to make everything as perfect as it can be.

That's how I am each trip with Poly CL -- we already know we LOVE the views and location of Hawaii so much that it trumps everything else. And we don't mind the evening appetizers -- we really enjoyed the quesadillas one night and the meatballs another night....desserts were excellent. Breakfast was the only real disappointment for our family, well just for me (lol) since I prefer protein. But my kids and DH were perfectly happy with bagels and fruit loops .

There's just something about walking in the lounge with those huge wall windows and that view.

They hadn't started the quiet pool work yet when we were there a couple weeks ago, but I can say that we were so thrilled with the appearance of the resort. We walked around the "new" grounds, the bungalow walkways/Hawaii/main pool/lobby and can't say enough about how beautiful it all is. Of course, we have stayed at Poly CL through all the bungalow construction, so seeing it all done now is really a WOW factor for us!

We never went near the quiet pool area except to take some pictures (it was still open).

The yellow armoires in the room and the TVs have been replaced and the TV and cabinet in the CL lounge has also been replaced. Let me know if someone needs pictures.

And we had a great stay in a deluxe room BC CL right before this. (I took pictures to update the thread and will post them later.) It was our second stay since the renovation, and it was pretty fantastic. Feels like their game has been upped a bit. Let me know if there are any questions.

Thank you for checking in with us! I agree BC CL has upped their game. We noticed a difference with all the upgrades, especially the food variations and additions. Enjoy BW CL!

Janice used to work at the concierge desk in RPC she is wonderful and she is one of my favorite texting buddies. Currently, they work in the office around from the RPC desks. I do miss her at the desk. I do hope they keep this in house rather than outsourcing it.

DH and I are staying at BWI CL for the first time in early December. Although, we have stayed at BC CL twice now, straying from GF is still a scary thing for us (especially DH) so any pics or updates you can post would be much appreciated!! Arrived at Beach Club yesterday. Checked in, room ready 15 min later. Beautiful room but wanted full balcony. Cast member called, got us a room we love. It messed up our magic bands but nothing too bad so far. Staff has been really helpful and friendly. They let us bring niece and her husband up to the lounge this morning while we got ready. Kids like the meats and cheese added to breakfast. Potato chips are awesome in the afternoon. Desserts were good, but same yesterday and tonight. Looking forward to another great day tomorrow!

I didn't realize that there were CL rooms that didn't have a full balcony... What category (view) do you have? We are booked CL at the BC and I'm wondering if the balcony could be an issue for us. I'm glad you have a room that you love -- enjoy your trip!

We just got back from the BC CL yesterday. They do have the Nespresso machine and syrups in the lounge

We have a lagoon/pool view. First room had a standing room balcony that ran the length of the room. We could have had all 4th us (adults) stand side by side on the balcony but we are slim people and that was about all of the room there was. The room we have now has 2 chairs and a table. It isn'the 1 of the large balconies but 2 of us can sit and the other 2 can stand. We can see the high fireworks at Hollywood Studios from our room.

It's a service some CLs are offering where you can text them after you've used your first 3 fastpasses to get a 4th. This avoids standing in line at the kiosk to add one.
People got confused because around Easter vacation guests were able to book a 4th in advance, and that just wasn't club level guests because I booked a 4th on the app and we were staying at Kidani. It was just an Easter thing.
