Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I can touch on the 1st part of your post. We LOVE staying Poly CL LV and always book that type. We used to book CL TPV but then the bungalows were built and sort of turned a lot of rooms into LV, which is fine by us. I *think* only a couple rooms on the 3rd floor are LV, most are TPV. If it's a full balcony you are looking for, I *think* there are a lot of LV rooms on the 1st floor as most have obstructed views due to the bungalows. We've stayed in 1503 and 1505 on the 1st floor, both LV rooms. 1503 had a slightly better view as the tip of the Castle could be seen in between 2 bungalow roofs. 1505 we had to sit on the far right of our patio to see the tip of the Castle between 2 bungalow roofs. However, both rooms were awesome and we really don't care that much about a full view of the Castle. Wishes can be seen and the lagoon view is awesome!

Seeing all of your posts about Poly CL LV is making me consider booking that over CL GV for our next Poly stay :goodvibes.

I sent an email for our room request and for a birthday to be added and I got the stock "we got your email" but also got an email back from a CL cm directly, confirming that everything had been noted on our reservation.

Hope you have a great trip and that your room request is met :).

We will be there next Wednesday!!

Have a great time! :wizard:

Well I think the GV would be a really nice view now that everything is done on that side!
I can't really put my finger on it, but there's just something special about the LV that I love. It's not for everyone, though -- we have friends that always book the GV and feel as much love for Poly as I do. :)

I am planning a trip for my family next June. We have loved the Poly CL the two times we have done it in the past, although some of the latest reviews have not been the best.

I am thinking of maybe doing a split to try another. I have narrowed it down to YCCL, BCCL, or BWICL. My DH wants GF, but I think that is just over budget.

I have three teens and type of food is most important.

Any suggestions? It would be a total of 6 or 7 nights, ending with the Poly. Thank you so much in advance!!

Our teens love love love the Boardwalk area. They love the activity on the Boardwalk or just watching a movie on the Boardwalk. I love having a Boardwalk view room. We would pick the BWI just for the CMs but also love the lounge of the BC CL and the BC pool. Our kids would pick the BWI or the BC. I would do the split stay. Enjoy!

I may just have to book 2 Poly CL trips so I can compare :rolleyes1 .

We did this same thing except it was after appetitzer time at AKL this past December. I forgot candles so I went to Jiko and they had some but no matches, so they sent me to the gift shop and they did! It was a mini scavenger hunt. Anyways, it worked out great, we handed out extra cake to the CMs and other guests, everyone was happy.

Quick question if you don't mind, where did you get the cake? I called the "Cake Hotline" but it's only for restaurant special cakes. I was hoping I could just have a special Disney cake delivered but maybe that's not an option. Thanks for any help. (sorry this isn't directly CL related folks)

Butting in here ;) but you can order custom cakes from your resort's private dining number. We've done custom cakes through private dining at the YC, BC, Poly, and GF. All were gorgeous!!! :D

Hey everyone! :)

Thanks to @Maxie86 we've got all new YC CL pics for page 1!!! :cheer2: Thanks so much for those!!!!

I just booked a trip back to Florida today, didn't think I could squeeze in a second one but luck was on my side! Nic and I heading down the first week of August and staying at the new Sapphire Falls. Hopefully it's nice! :goodvibes

It's going to be a quick trip, but I feel so lucky that it's come together.
Aug 22-25, Two nights BC, last night BWI CL

Today I was able to book the Star Wars Dessert Party at HS for the first night. Can't wait!

Checking into BC CL next Saturday. Looking ahead for room requests for online check in…do all the CL rooms have full balconies?? We have a Standard room booked. Thanks in advance!!!

Do the Deluxe CL rooms and the water view CL rooms all have balconies?

There are a total of 6 deluxe rooms at the Beach Club. 3 of these have full size (oversized for that matter) balconies, 1 has a patio and 2 have standing only balconies.

Not all of the BC CL waterview rooms have full balconies. Many do but not all.

We got it from Its Tasty Too! She does amazing work and her cakes taste great. My favorite is the chocolate with Reese's cup filling. Best thing her cakes are a fraction of WDW cakes but she has a delivery fee. I think it's $25 but even with that we still paid about half of what we would have paid getting it from WDW. If you want to see pics of cakes that shes done, let me know

We had a welcome card and chocolate at Poly. No welcome card or chocolate at BWI.

We opted to do the direct-to-room text and skip the personal check-in, and both resorts did tell us we could have been greeted and properly walked to CL (poor Pete said he had been looking for us all day! I felt bad...). When we walked directly to Hawaii from the monorail, the desk CM gasped and said "where is your welcome lei and why didn't someone walk you back here?" I quickly explained it was our choice to just walk back ourselves and she was okay with that, but she jumped up and gave us a hug and welcome lei. So at least these 2 CL's seem to have greeters back in service again!

How funny... We were at the Poly CL 7/2-7/5 and didn't get chocolates nor were there any greeters - I looked around before giving up and just going inside. Certainly no one said they missed us. After a very frustrating experience at the main check in desk where they forced us to change right then and there so we could leave our luggage at the curb (we only had two small carry ons - I really don't get why it was a big deal if we kept them for 20 more minutes) they finally walked us to Hawaii. Since they had done everything at the front desk they just waved us towards the lounge stairs and said we could eat if we wanted to and let them know if we needed anything more. I had requested a high level as my only request but we were given ground floor. We DID have many longboards while we were there though, and enjoyed having breakfast right there every day. I think I'd still book CL again, I just wouldn't even bother stopping at the front desk next time unless our MBs don't work at Hawaii.
