What a coincidence you got the email today. I got a phone call this morning for my Christmas CR Tower Club stay. I wasn’t near my phone to answer so she left a voice mail. Almost exactly the same as your email, except she also mentioned that my 60 day window had opened today. (Yes, I already knew, lol).

Too funny!! 😄

Thanks & yes we’re recovered. Glad to hear you had a great stay. How was the cake from Steakhouse 71? We eat lunch there every trip, but haven’t tried the cake. It looks delicious tho. And I’m glad to hear your meal at BOG was good. We haven’t eaten there in 2 or 3 years but liked it then. It has gotten some bad reviews lately, so nice to read a positive comment.

The cake was amazing--it was a great treat several days in a row!

Hoping someone experienced with club level can advise. On are next trip after cruise we will be staying club level at WL, as it’s after a cruise we will probably arrive by 10am if not earlier. There’s almost no chance our room will be ready that early, but can we use the club lounge while we wait for a room or maybe just breakfast before we go to a park (I assume we can do checkin online before we get there)?

Yes, the lounge is accessible for CL guests, starting the morning of their check in day, to the end of lounge service on their check out day! You can leave your bags with bell services upon arrival, they will hold them for you while you go up to the lounge and go to the park. Just to note, the lounge changes over from breakfast to snacks at 10:30am. Enjoy!

Thanks for that, very helpful. I have another scenario. Later in our trip we will be staying at beach club but I can’t get the same room for our entire stay and so for the last night I am considering moving to a club level room. So in this scenario, on change over day, would we be able to access the club lounge early even though we haven’t yet checked out of our non-club room and not yet got access to our new club level room? We will have a late night the night before (going to AH at HS) so we won’t want to vacate our room earlier than needed but it would be great if we could grab the club level breakfast.

You will be able to do that but your Magicband or key card isn't going to be programmed to take the elevator to the fifth floor. You're going to need to explain what you want to do to someone at the front desk to gain access.

Thanks right now I have two reservations one for GF main building deluxe king and YC cl wv with the request of the area I like. I will take a few months to think on how I want this to play out. Thanks for your advice. Just looking for something different after many stays at YC. Where all this construction is going on, this might be the time to take advantage of the discounts at GF.
I decided to keep my YC CL WV room in March 2025 instead of GF CL deluxe king room since we want to see flower and garden. Someone told me that the monorail will also be more crowded due to the new rooms at the Poly. So the room at YC is cheaper than GF so I decided to also grab another YC CL room in December 2025 for a few days in case I get a bounceback offer or another discount. Thanks for everyone’s input.

Just to add to what @mrsap said. You will have lounge access all day of check in starting at 6am ( food usually starts at 7am) and all day of check out until midnight (most lounges close at 10pm). You can do online check in but will still need an escort to the 6th floor lounge at WL when you check in. The CM had to program our bands to open the CL doors.

We are planning to stay club level for two nights in August. We narrowed it down to Boardwalk or Wilderness Lodge. Any suggestions?

We like Boardwalk because of its proximity to Epcot (short walk) and Studios (medium walk). The staff has always been great.

My thoughts are that it’s 2 nights, with the Boardwalk you are in walking distance to Epcot and HS, plus the skyliner. You have many more options for restaurants at Boardwalk area including the new Cake Bake and all of the restaurants at YC/BC, Swan/Dolphin and Epcot plus Food and Wine festival at Epcot. I can’t forget that the BWI CL lounge is also pretty decent.

We like them both. They're very different from each other. We stayed at WL this past Aug. It was an MK intensive trip. Going back and forth was pretty easy, especially when it would rain everyday from 2-4. The lounge was never crowded and it was very cozy. I loved the new rooms, they did a great job with the remodel. BWI does tend to get a bit more crowded since it serves more people. We haven't been since Covid and I know things have changed but it has always been a favorite of ours, we love it so much. We are going back next August. Being able to walk to 2 parks, is great. We love the overall feel of the BW area. I don't think you can go wrong with either. If you think you'll be in MK more then WL. If you think you'll be at HS and EP more then BWI. If you are spending equal amounts at all parks...flip a coin.

Is it true that someone contacts you prior to your stay and that you can request items to be put in your fridge? If so can you request alcohol?

I only had that at WL in the deluxe rooms. It’s probably because they are a hike from the lounge,

No you cannot request alcohol to be in your room. I wish!

If you a get there before 10p you can request what you need. You can also ask for food items THEY MIGHT have access to from earlier in the day. Cereal, uncrsustables come to mind.

Sorry a I have an OT question. You all gave great suggestions to hotels in Boston last summer, when i asked this question, so i thought i would ask again. We are going to take on NYC next summer. I've been a couple of times but last time was almost 20 years ago, I can't believe it's been that long. Any club levels you all would suggest? Or just a hotel you love? It's just so hard to narrow things down, there's way too many options

Just to expand the post from @trishadono concerning the bad news on no alcohol being preloaded in your Beverage cooler and address the rest of your question.

Not all CL will contact you in advance of your arrival. There are many factors that come into play but the most common is free time for the CL CM to make guest Welcome call.

You however are able to contact Disney Signature Services (DSS) at 407-939-777 seven days a week from 9 to 5 Eastern Time or at disney.signature.services@disneyworld.com. DSS can answer your initial questions or help with pre-planning your visit.
