Where exactly is the lounge at Wilderness Lodge? It doesn’t show on the resort map. I’ve booked a deluxe room so hoping it’s not too far

The Old Faithful Club on is the 7th floor (top floor) with the rest of the CL rooms. The lounge is located in the center of the lodge overlooking the lobby below.

The 10 Deluxe rooms are on Floors 1-5, 2 per floor at the end of the north wing of the lodge overlooking Bay lake.

So it is a bit of walking and the elevator(s) or stairs to reach the lounge. It is not a long or inconvenient trip but you are definitely not on the same floor. Have you stayed at other resorts where the Lounge is not on the same floor as your room?

I’ve never stayed Club Level as we’re DVC Members so although Copper Creek is one of our home resorts Club Level is a first!

Yes the actual lounge service area is on the north wall of the Main lodge where 2 of the Honeymoon suites were located which would be above the Whispering Canyon (5 floors below on the 2nd level). The seating is outside of the lounge service area.

To get an idea of how long you might be walking have you ever stayed on CCV floors 1-5 near the Bay Lake end of the wing and walked to the main elevators in the lobby? It is really not that far considering other resorts with CL.

Is it annoying that you would need to take an elevator or climb a few flights of stairs (if you hate the elevators) Yes.

Dave explained it well but yes, it's directly above WCC on the 7th floor.
The deluxes are at the end of the building, looking at the lake/boat dock. We were on the first floor once, arguably the furthest room away from the lounge and it wasn't a terrible walk. Down the hall to the elevators by Roaring fork the up to the 7th floor. Down that hall to the lounge. Depending on how fast we got the elevator, 5 to 10 minutes.

Yes. You get your club access until the end of the day.

Yes, the lounge is accessible for CL guests, starting the morning of their check in day, to the end of lounge service on their check out day! You can even go back for dinner/dessert, if you really wanted to. Enjoy!

This is such a bummer. The military discounts for 2025 were just announced and I noticed club level is excluded this time. We have been able to swing club level the last few years because of the discount. I remember a while back on on this sub people were talking about club being excluded also for discounts with other promotions. Seems like they are really phasing out any club discounts! And it figures we need 2 rooms this time because we are taking one of our adults sons as his Christmas gift to propose to his gf!! We are looking at going sometime over the summer like usual so I suppose I will just book 2 non club level rooms. I can't see paying rack rate for 2 club rooms. It is what it is but such a bummer!!

Sadly, turndown service has not returned since Covid.

I’m pretty go with the flow with most Disney changes and the ebbs and flows of things over the years, but this is one that really grinds my gears, in my humble opinion.

I miss it too. It felt luxurious to come back to the room to find the bed neatly turned down, the curtains drawn, the lighting just right, and the bathrooms freshened up.

Yes, I know most people loved the chocolates. As someone who once fell asleep on the chocolates, I left those off of my list of things I miss on purpose

, at least it’s a core memory now! We would leave notes requesting no chocolate because no one in my family likes Ghirardelli’s chocolates.

I like them well enough, but preferably during daylight hours and not near white sheets.
