Disney Club level friends I need your prayers. Yesterday I received news that I have cancer. It is funny how one word can somehow change your whole life in a second. It is an aggressive cancer and my doctor told my husband and I, that I need to meet with an oncologist ASAP. Needless to say we chose to cancel our Disney vacation that was to begin today through next week. We just did not want to take a chance of missing an appointment to meet with an oncologist and begin my fight.

So sorry to hear this! Sending you LOTS of love and prayers. Cancer sucks...no doubt but attitude is everything! I work in healthcare and they'll be days when you are at your worst but know your disney friends are cheering you on and will be here to help lift you up! Looking forward to the day when you say....I just beat cancer and I'm going to Disney World!

I know that treatment has grown in leaps and bounds even over the past five years, so I am really rooting for you to be able to pour yourself that glass of wine at CL sooner rather than later! Disney Club Level Family, Thank you so much for your kind words, support, and prayers. I had a scan yesterday of my neck and chest. Monday morning I meet with the head and neck cancer specialist at Vanderbilt Hospital. DH and myself are in awe of how fast Vanderbilt got the ball rolling for me. Everything just fell in place. We definitely made the right decision to postpone our Disney trip. I will keep you posted and thank you again for your prayers, support, and love. I definitely feel them.

You are in good hands at Vandy, we drive over 5 hours to see my daughters specialists there several times a year. I'm rooting for you and your medical team, you've got this!

Upon further review of the Deluxe Room pics... using Country Bears in the art in the bedroom is just about the best IP use ever, in my opinion. Subtle and whimsical. Love it.

Now that we are back, I'm planning our summer trip (August). We decided to add a night and do a split stay with the dark side. 5 nights at Disney and 3 at Universal. We've never been to Universal and it confuses me. For Disney I have it narrowed to YC, WL or Poly. For Universal it is Hard Rock or Portofino Bay. Most likely doing CL for whish we pick. It will most likely be Portofino because my 13 yo really wants to stay there. Anyone stay at either and have some tips or input? I was debating the season pass for me for the pass discount there. Again, I feel lost.
