Oh gee this does not make me feel good about them transferring our luggage to WL when we change resorts for a split stay

I'll try to remember to update. We arrived at Beach Club tomorrow, then switching to Caribbean on Thursday. That's our Epcot day so we'll most likely be gone all day, so fingers crossed for no issues with our luggage.

I'm confused on the mask policy. I just saw a screenshot that they are required on pool decks? Is that true? They weren't required in Nov at the pool at AKV so I don't understand why they would be required now. Besides attractions where do you need to put a mask on outside?

All I know is in line and in buildings.

No, not required on the pool deck.

Anything basically indoors it will be required (unless stationary eating or drinking) and in any attraction queue from basically the point where you would pass where the standby wait time is posted.

Can anyone comment on the skyliner line when returning from Epcot in the evening. We are trying to decide if we should drive or take the sl. Would prefer skyliner but not if we are waiting an hour! We will leave before close. Maybe 8?

You'll be fine unless you stay all the way until close.

I think building request depends a bit on what your preference is. It IS a large resort but the only time that bothered us was when we were coming home from MK one early afternoon for naps as our bus stop was one of the last and it took FOREVER to get there.

We wanted to be close to the SL so we loved being in Jamaica which is right next to it. It was maybe 5 minutes from Old Port Royale. We actually only went there once but it was really not a far walk. We had no need to go to any of the other areas so it didn't matter to us that martinique was super far. Many people recommend Aruba as it is close to the Riviera so you can go eat at the Riviera and hop on the SL there as well. We liked being at the SL station with direct access to HS so that worked for us. There is also a joffery's coffee right there by the skyliner if you need coffee! If you are staying in a pirate room, those are all in trinidad so cross those off your possibilities if you are not in a pirate room!

I should have checked!!!!! We ended up not getting the refillable mug so didn't even check.
