Resort Thread Disney's CARIBBEAN BEACH Resort

Just wondering...If you aren’t near the skyliner, is there an internal bus system to get to it? CBR is so big.

The menu looks much better than Tusker House as well. I think I'm going to make an ADR today.

Interesting, on the MDE app, it is currently showing that Sebastian's Bistro is going to be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On the MDE web site, you can't see that they are closed, and it just says "No availability" for Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Can anyone comment on the skyliner line when returning from Epcot in the evening. We are trying to decide if we should drive or take the sl. Would prefer skyliner but not if we are waiting an hour! We will leave before close. Maybe 8?

I would definitely plan on the skyliner. Only concern would be the weather. We just got back yesterday and loved the skyliner - it makes travelling to Epcot and DHS so easy. There were a few times when we shot over to Epcot for an hour or two because it was so quick and easy. One night we left EPCOT at closing but the wait to get on the skyliner was only 15 minutes. Another night we left about 30 minutes before close but the skyliner was closed due to a storm rolling in so we walked to the Yacht Club and took an uber from there. All the other times we took skyliner home there was no wait.

It looks longer than it is. A line all the way out to the Epcot entrance was only a 15 minute wait in March. Definitely faster than other methods.

We are planning a trip the middle of July and staying at Caribbean Beach. Are there currently any restrictions on the pool? For awhile I think they were only allowing a certain number of people in the pool area. Has that changed with the loosening up of the covid restrictions?

Right now there is a limit, but at CB it's a large limit, and I think it's rarely reached.

We're planning our first Disney vacation for July 2022 and are getting ready to book a Standard 5th sleeper room at Caribbean Beach. I love the access to Skyliner and the resort pool looks amazing (I've got 3 kids who are going to go gaga over the pirate pool)! My only concern is bus transportation to the other parks that are not on the Skyliner. It looks like with our room type we'll either be in the Aruba or Jamaica sections which are great for Skyliner access, but last on the CBR bus loop. I read that during peak travel-to-park times the busses will fill up and you'll have trouble getting transportation from those villages. Has anyone has experience with this? Would it make sense to walk to one of the other villages to get the bus there or even to get a bus at the Riviera if that's closer (eg, if we are in Aruba)? Thanks in advance for your help!

During crowded times, there are actually two bus loops. One picks up Jamaica then Aruba, and the other picks up Martinique, Barbados, and Trinidad. Request building 41 for optimal skyliner access.

We just got back from a stay in Aruba - building 51. Busses to MK were never a problem for us although we did walk over to the Jamaica bus stop as they were picked up before Aruba and in the morning the busses fill up fast. We did wait about 20 minutes for an AK bus one morning (3 or 4 MK busses came before the 1st AK one). On the way back from MK and AK we would take either the Caribbean Beach or Riviera bus depending on which showed up first.

We’re the Coke freestyle machines open?

Oh that's encouraging, thanks for sharing your experience! I believe we requested either building 45 or 51, so it would be easy to go to either bus stop. Good to know that Jamaica is the way to go!

We check in on Saturday and we're in a standard with the sleeper. I requested close to Skyliner so I'm assuming/hoping we'll be in Aruba or Jamaica. We will either take Lyft or DME from airport. Some questions:

* If we take Lyft can they get right up to the room locations or do they drop off where DME does?
* Where do you pick up Lyft at the airport? Is it far from DME? I want to check out the line first at DME before deciding, but not if it's a huge trek to the pickup area. We land 5pm on a Saturday so I'm sure DME will be a long line...
* Do we have the option of having Bell Services bring our bags to our room with our instacart order?
