Resort Thread Disney's BOARDWALK INN Resort

Every two bedroom villa at BWV is a lockoff. There are no dedicated two bedroom villas there. They are all over the place, but I don't think many have the Village Green view. I think all of those are dedicated studios.
There is exactly 1 BR/Studio set on the Village Green that makes a 2BR lockoff.

So excited! Our waitlist for BWV-Boardwalk View Studio came through today! We will be there for Braves Spring Training and the Flower & Garden Show, March 6-11. Any suggestions on a room request? We've stayed BWV before, but that was standard view.

Hi all,

Settling in for another night at BW.

Tonight we took the boat to Epcot - dinner at Chefs de France - Got a great table. Here was our view

And the swan dessert

After we left France we had our fast pass for Frozen Ever After - guess what - it was down again. For over 2 hours. This seems to be the theme of Disney lately - lots of things breaking down. I have never seen so many rides offline than on this trip.

So we were no way waiting for Frozen to get fixed. We walked around works showcase - German gardensimage.jpg

It was a cool night for August in Disney. image.jpg

After Mexico and the grand fiesta tour we decided to go back and do a night swim

We spent some time in the community hall - our kids really enjoy it. Tonight they were playing beauty and the beast.

I've noticed how nice the staff is here. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful.

Goodnight all & will check in again tomorrow.

Hi I'm not sure but from my balcony on the 5th floor I can hear the john willims music - and some of the dialogue (they play lines / talk from the movies)

We were there in April, and could hear that music on the walk path to DHS and at the BWV quiet pool. But, it was the sound from DHS and wasn't loud enough. CR/ BLT pumps music into the common areas to Wishes at the opportune time, and I believe the theme park rooms can access the music directly as well.

We checked into the BWI this morning and it has been a comedy of errors so far. Too many things went wrong but have to say management has been great so far.

Received a text our room was ready and when we checked out our room, we had a construction war zone view. Scaffolding everywhere including our balcony and the noise was so loud the room was shaking (literally). Now we wait for a new room. Still excited for our first stay here and hoping things turn around!!

We will be staying at BWI for the first time for a short trip in November. We have a water view room, and I sat that we could either be facing the pool, or possibly the boardwalk(per the Disney website explanation). Does anyone have any recommendations on requests? Although pool view would be nice, would prefer boardwalk if they indeed DO have boardwalk views in water view rooms.

I'm glad they are moving you. I'm hoping it's all good from this point forward.:goodvibes

I apologize if this has been posted somewhere before, but I'm honestly too lazy to try to find it. :earboy2:

We are checking into a 2bdr villa on 8/23 and was wondering if I am able to make a specific room request? If so how and what rooms would you recommend. I have garden/pool view. I'm thinking a room overlooking the main pool with a view of HS and ToT would be AWESOME! Thanks in advance.
This is the exact view we requested except over the quiet pool. I would love to hear how it goes for you!!

We are now in our new room...much better and quieter.

Are you on the 4th floor? I swear that is the view that my DH and I had in May. At first I was disappointed because I wanted a courtyard view, but you can see the Star Wars fireworks from here and it was amazing. Also, the room was very quiet. We were happy with that room. I sent the view photo I took to Touringplans and they posted it.

After your rough start, I hope everything goes great!

Yeah, at CR/BLT you can get the Wishes music in the rooms on the TV, but I think that's the only one. Even Poly rooms with a TPV don't have the music, even though you would think its the same TV system. It would be really nice to get the Star Wars music in the BW rooms as well, but I doubt they'll do it. They want you in the park spending money. :)

Thank you and yes, 4th floor and so far it's been quiet.

We took some time to walk around and explore and everyone likes the theming here...it really is a pretty resort. Tomorrow we plan to head over to the quiet pool (none of us cared for the main pool) BUT to be fair, we are coming from SAB which is hard to beat.

Were you at the inn or villas? I'm hoping I don't get a construction room but I'll be staying in the villas. Anything going on on that side?

The Inn side.. Our first room was on the 5th floor facing a courtyard.

Hi Rosa,

Glad they changed your room. We are checking out in the morning.

I wasn't a big fan of the clown pool either. It was surprisingly smaller than I thought - it looks so huge & sprawling on the WDW website pictures. We spent most of our time on the quiet pool by the community hall. Unfortunately today they were doing concrete work which was extremely loud - lots of drilling noises.

Rosa have an amazing trip.
