I don't know if this has been posted here yet, but WDW News Today is reporting the Cars section has been vandalized. Very sad.

I'm not sure about this. I searched the internet for more reports and it appears that this is the only source. I hope it is a hoax. If not, ropes will likely be going up. What a crying shame.

PS. If Jaxjags is correct maybe the quick cover-up will discourage copy cat vandals

I was skeptical too, since I couldn't find anything else. But WDWNT's website seems pretty legitimate. I imagine it's something that Disney would fix as quickly as humanly possible. I can definitely imagine extra security/cameras in the future though.

It was another thread awhile back. There's one with photos inside the CR as well. I guess there are poisonous snakes and spiders thst could be in the bushes since it's FL and possible there. Also there's the possibilty of gators in the lakes which is why there's no swimming (along with the snakes and spiders). There's threads about these things, just search.

I was on Lines too and there were several people talking about it. They say that Ramon's hood is covered by a tarp with a CM posted there to be sure you don't remove it.

I hope that it was all caught on a camera. Then the perpetrators can receive a lifetime ban from WDW.

Another liner here - sounds like they did most of the repairs immediately. I hope they don't rope them off as we are really looking forward to getting good pics in Oct.

Why do people have to screw up something nice? There was a Corvette at POP (Goofy's Pop Jet Area) and there were vehicles at ASMu (Broadway Area). There were there for years.

That absolutely infuriates me. Something for so many children and adults to enjoy and some complete waste of space decides it would be funny to wreck it for everyone??!??!?!

No different than when the new playground equipment went into our park across the street and I took all my daycare children over a day later and someone had scrawled disgusting things all over it with permanent marker. They ended up having to take pieces out that have never been replaced. I can't even imagine the mindset of someone who would do something so thoughtless and pointless.

I would think the culprit would be taking a ride in police car for vandalism. And then after going to court, ban them for life.
