glitzybabes, I want that AoA ticker! But everytime I go to MickeyPath, it isn't shown to pick! Jealous!! So, I tried to make my own, as close to LM AoA as I could, lol! :goodvibes

Booked two nights using the military rate at AoA CARS for August. The CM on the phone said that the resort is amazing. He and his family were invited to stay two weeks prior to opening. He said to make sure you pay close attention to all the little details all over the resort.

Can't wait for your review! I think I might have to book a couple of days at the end of my October trip. :thumbsup2

Oh goodness!!!!! My kids would love this section!!! Thank you!!!! Does anyone have a link like this for lion king?? I can't seem to find pics of that section.

These are the best pictures I have been able to find that are LK

Great pics; thanks, Tiffany.

I was so happy to read that review. Some people might want to hear about pools and playgrounds. I want to know about plates and bowls! :rotfl: It's the little things in life... ;)

I love the Disney Food Blog. I've learned more great things from them for this year's trip. Among the most important? Disney's gourmet CUPCAKES! :yay:

We will be in a Little Mermaid room 11/22 - 12/2. Can't wait to go. We will be decorating our window. We haven't decided with what yet, but DD is turning 8 two days before we arrive. It will either be birthday or christmas or a mixture.

We'll be there then, too. I hope to decorate for Christmas. I'll keep an eye out for a birthday/Christmas mixed window. Maybe we'll see each other at the pool someday.

Thanks, Tiffany. These are some of the best LK and LM photos I've seen yet. It's going to be so much fun just walking through the courtyards to go to the main building. :goodvibes

I am loving the idea of staying in those adorable Nemo suites! Quick question though, do any of the windows open? Or are there walkouts on the ground floor?

No problem. I just sent the email. I wish they would add some AOA pictures to the banners. :goodvibes
I made this one before the good pictures started coming out. I will have to see if I can make some more.

I was thinking that the other day. I noticed some of them have added Aulani, so hopefully some of AoA are not too far off.

We had our trip already planned for the end of Aug. After seeing how awesome this resort is we switched resorts and are now able to stay for one night the day we arrive! We are all so excited. We had planned on the Nemo section but after seeing the Cars section, well we all agreed we HAVE to stay there!!

Sorry if this has been asked 100x's already but how far is the Cars section from the Big Blue pool?

It's just next door - looks pretty convenient!

A few questions I am hoping somebody will have answers for.

Does AoA offer wifi and are there any reports of how it is?
Do the windows open in the rooms?
How is the sound in the rooms? Are there any noise issues?

Just things I am curious about:)

Does AoA offer wifi and are there any reports of how it is? Yes but it is a mix of good and bad.

Do the windows open in the rooms? Apparently not according Someone a while back

How is the sound in the rooms? Are there any noise issues? Decent, better than most values as you only share 2walls rather than 3 and they are inside halls.

Hope that helps

For those of you who have already stayed at the resort, I have a question about the bus stops. Are they covered or are they set up like the other value resorts?

Here is my review on Landscape of Flavors. :thumbsup2

Thanks for blogging! I loved the review and was excited to see the caprese on the menu. I love a good caprese sandwich, but hate using CS credits to buy one from Earl of Sandwich when I would rather have meat pie and chips in DTD. This will be my 'grab on the way home to eat at the airport' dinner!

We were going to get two rooms at Pop or maybe a mod but we decided to leave our AoA reservation as is.:)

Is anyone else's family having a hard time deciding which section they want? There's no clear winner in our house! The girls (both 15) want the Cars section, mostly because they love the pictures of the courtyard. My 8 year old son doesn't want Cars (weird..he loved the movies) and would prefer Nemo or Lion King. I am leaning toward Lion King.:rolleyes1
And my husband couldn't care less and just wants us to decide already:rotfl:

I really don't think it will matter in the long run. Just a fun debate we're having. How did you all pick? We love them all!

ETA) Maybe we should just choose the "Family Suite" option and see where the front desk puts us! There would be an element of surprise!
