DD is going to love the seagulls! She still talks about the ones in Epcot, telling everyone she can. This is going to be great!

mckivigl, I will be taking my DGDs age 5 and 18 and the 18 year olds best friend in August and they think we are staying at PoP!!! I am just about busting at the seams to keep this a BIG secret I can't wait to see my older DGD face when she realizes where we are staying...she asked questions about staying there and I told her that it cost toooooo muchhhhhh money So, I can't wait to see it for myself...

I originally put this in the September AoA thread but moved it here instead. Hopefully someone can help me.

Question! I'm planning on staying at AoA during a value week in August (19-24) and my mom just told me that she's planning on making the reservation in early June. I know AoA is pretty big but it also looks like it'll be popular, so I'm worried the place will be difficult to get into a month from now. But I'm not sure... Anyone have experience with this?

I don't think that has been verified yet, but with that fence in place the conventional wisdom is that some kind of guest verification will be done for the main Nemo pool.

Is there a reason that she wants to wait until June to make the reservations? I would worry a little since it's new and all the buildings aren't open so maybe it will be full

I am thinking I see the thing that opens the pool gate.

I know I mentioned the Hard Rock in Orlandos pool before . The gate lock they had had a little black block thing that you slid your card through to open the gate that connected to the pool area.

It looks just like what I am seeing in this photo. I could be wrong. Its hard to see all of it . Does anyone have any close ups of the gate lock on the pool at BLT ?

According to The Dis and Inside the Magic on Facebook, there's a tour bus on its way to AoA for a tour right now! Hope to see a whole pile of new pictures this evening, I'll be scouring all the usual sites!

Looks like we will have a lot of photos coming in soon. They must have had a big media invite. The Disboards are there now along with All Ears , WDW Radio , etc. .

The Social Media Moms is going on today also so I am sure those guys will head over there for a tour also.

Cinder73, I'm so glad that you mentioned this. I too, was looking at that gate. I have never seen a gate that required something to unlock it; (I have no experience with inaccessible pools), but I did think that it does not look like a regular gate latch. It certainly is something more complicated. Now I'm really curious. The fencing also takes in the sprayground area (water plash pad). I know that many Pop guests are very disappointed that the splash pad at Pop has been removed; it seems like it was extremely popular. I'm really thinking now that this will be a gated pool with guests needing their KTTW to swim in it and use the water play area.

I know that Deb Wills from Allearsnet is there now. She's posted a couple of pictures she took in the lobby on Facebook.

Pardon me if this question has been answered before, but I haven't read through all 127 pages of this thread. I've a question about bus routes.

I know that right now Pop has it's own route as opposed to the All Stars, which make multiple stops. Does anyone know which route AoA is going to be on?
