Can someone tell me more about the PINs? I am booked at POP the end of Aug with FD as AofA was not offering FD when I booked. If I could get FD at AofA in June, I would prefer to go then. Are the PIN's only good for the person they are issued to, or is there a website where I can go to find a PIN for June?? Thanks for any insight?

I don't think AOA will have any codes or FD for a while. Once they get settled in, they most likely will. Maybe someone else will shed more light on this, but, this is my take on it.

I booked free dining in a suite at AoA yesterday for the last week of August. Reports so far are that the Little Mermaid section was only showing up for one week in September with free dining.
However, you can go to the WDW site and select free dining under "Special Offers" and book a suite with free Counter Service dining plan right now.

PIN code are assigned to individual names only. They cannot be shared. As for free dining for AoA, within the past few days the free dining plan has been released for dates and rooms at AoA -- so maybe you can look to see if you can change your reservation to AoA and still get free dining.

My husband and I are considering one of the AoA family suites for our October 2013 vacation. We love the idea of a bigger space as well as a separate room for our DD so we don't have to go to bed at 7 pm.

So I'll be watching this thread to see other people's experiences with this new resort.

I think they added more rooms for free dining at AoA. Yesterday only one of the suites, I think it was Lion King, was coming up as available, now Cars is too. Hoping Little Mermaid will appear in the next day or two.

LM is now showing for the 15th-24th, instead of stopping at 22nd, so it looks like they are adding slowly. Lion King is showing for my dates now, too, where before it just said "family suite". Yay!

Well, it's good to know they have issued a PIN good for AoA. Maybe my PIN good in October will end up working eventually for it! I really hope so. I want a discount .

But seriously, the regular rooms there are $10 less then a room at Pop already, and then it gets an even greater discount. People must not be staying there as much. I might seriously be sticking with the All Stars after one stay at AoA. I like Pop better, but for $100 or so less a trip, I think I'd rather stay at All Stars.

I just got this in an e-mail from Disney as a reply to an e-mail I sent them asking about the Little Mermaid rooms;

The Little Mermaid rooms will be available only from September 15 – September 29, 2012. However, if theyare not showing up as an available option during your search this does mean that they are unavailable for your travel dates. The website does offer accurate pricing and availability. If you’re flexible with your dates, we suggest you try changing your dates to check availability. Even adjusting by one or two days can open up more options.

I priced out POP and All Stars with a PIN I received and POP was actually less expensive coming in at $70 a night plus tax. I'm still thinking we'll stay at AoA just because it's the new resort . I am hoping my PIN will open up for AoA!

$70 a night's great! I think that's what I paid last year.

I would pay more to stay at AoA too, but probably just the one time. I also may book a one-night only room there just to stay in a Lion King suite, but that may be too excessive, even for me.

Thats exactly when I need t for 15th -29 . I wish they would show up but they are still not . Its so frustrating. I am going to try calling now. I could really use that 2,000 we save toward the move.

No way they sold out because I have been obsessive about checking throughout the day since 10 minutes after it was announced. Maybe that means they will add more?

Just got off the phone with reservations. The lady I got at first me LM rooms didnt open til the 18th. She was nice but actually disagreed with me when I told her that " No it was the 15th" . lol Then she said AOA has no free dining and I told her that " Yes, yes it did".

Then when she found the info she said that Lm was sold out and I told her no it wasn't possible. She believed me at that point ! lol She was very nice though and got guest services on the phone. They did confirm that there is indeed a glitch in the system and that the rooms will be added later in the week and that right now the dates were frozen up because or a error in the system. She said the same things happened when the POR princess rooms became available.

She made a note so the next CM is not as confused. Poor woman . I dont think most of the Cm's even know whats going on yet. So if anyone is still needing to book dates , dont give up. Give it a few days and try again. I was told by next week , hopefully it will be sooner.

There has to be something wrong when you can book the 15-22 but not 16-22 in a mermaid room. This morning at about 7:40am, it was pulling up 15-24 in a mermaid room but now it is pulling up 15-23. We are all booked for the week after Thanksgiving for the LM section. I guess we're lucky that we got in there without any problems, huh? Now we're hoping for FD. That would be the best Christmas gift ever.
