Oh boy! We got the pin! Now to bite the bullet. It makes it a doable trip this year. Now to convince dh. I love the idea of trying this resort. We are generally Deluxe snobs- well dh is. But we are on a value budget this year and I think this would be an easier transition to the value side.

Does your PIN specifically say it is for AoA? Because if not, it might not work there. I have not seen any posts about being able to successfully book an AoA room with a PIN code unless it is specifically listed. Several people have posted that their PINs are not able to be used at AoA even after they opened up the resort to free dining, myself included. I got a 30% PIN and they told me AoA was excluded, even after they set the new opening dates. Just want you to be prepared that you might not be able to use it there if it doesn't say AoA on it somewhere. Good luck and definitely report back with what they tell you. Getting a PIN is like waking up on Christmas morning when you were 5. :rotfl:

Yes it says AOA! 15% off only for that one- along with the others some blah blah blah stuff about being repeat guests and that's why we are getting this one- but I'll take it! It's better than nothing. the price for the week is doable I just did it online using the pin code which also is new for me- I never could do that before. Now to convince dh.......

I just got it yesterday in email- so be on the lookout!

:dance3:Yes!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I booked AoA resort in a Nemo suite with free dining!!!! 9/14 to 9/19. We were gonna stay in 2 rooms at POP, but then AoA opened up with free dining!!!
:banana::woohoo::yay:
I am so excited!!!

Happy Easter ! Here is another new link from Jeff Lange ( source youtube)
Looks like have some of the fishies up on the LM buildings. LK is even coming along nicely and Cars and Nemo look great ! TIP- I always forget that if you click that little cog wheel looking thing , you can upgrade the quality to HD. Makes it easier to see stuff.

Got back a couple week ago from a stay at POP and thought I'd share some of the pics I took of AoA while I was there.

Great pics!

I was thinking about it though, and wondering why Disney decided to make the Little Mermaid area the single rooms. It seems like a bad decision to me. I love the Little Mermaid, but I'm wondering if this will affect families with boys staying there.

The Little Mermaid is predominantly a "girl" movie, the way I see Cars being a mostly "boy" movie, while Nemo and Lion King seem like they would appeal to both sexes. I know when I was little, and my cousins and I would watch the VHS tapes, I know we all liked the Lion King. I don't remember us ever watching the Little Mermaid together.

So why not do Nemo or Lion King as the single rooms? I just think it's a bad decision since I don't see boys wanting to stay in an Ariel room.

We are so excited to be staying at the Art of Animation from July 4 to the 6th. We have a family suite and I am so excited. It will be myself, my DH, DS(8), DD(10) and my parents. :cool1:

Thanks for the link Cinderella73; I love seeing his videos, also. And, thanks for the photos Capkincaid. The more I see, the more excited I get. :yay:

We are all booked for the week after Thanksgiving for the LM section. I guess we're lucky that we got in there without any problems, huh? Now we're hoping for FD. That would be the best Christmas gift ever.

We are booked for the week after Thanksgiving too! We are also staying in LM. DD4 is very excited!! I have my fingers crossed that they offer FD for us.

Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread. It has been super helpful to us in deciding that we want to book a little mermaid room for our thanksgiving trip. I am hoping that free dining is offered for our dates!

We are booked for a LM room in October! We actually could have booked a mod for the same price due to having a PIN code, but we chose AoA. Our kids will absolutely love it! We haven't told DD where we are staying yet. I can't wait to see her face when she sees all of the LM stuff.
