But that gives you no advantage in getting you a discount room. All it does is guarantee a room at full price in the absence of a discount.

Correct. The poster didn't say they had to have a code, just that they were "kind of waiting to see what deals, if any, are coming." Rather than wait for a code and lose a room, I would book it now. :) Unless of course I wasn't willing to pay rack rate!

First I want to say how good it is to be back on here with all of you good people. I haven't been able to get onto this site since last week because every time I tried to log on my computer blocked my access saying that the site was risky because of some type of 'danger'. Did anyone else run into this? I didn't know if there were hackers causing trouble or what. :confused3 Today, as usual, I tried again and this time I was able to get on. :yay: Does this happen often? It has happened to me once before, but just for a day or two, never for as long as it was this time. I kept thinking about all of you and what I may be missing regarding the AoA!!!!! :lmao:

Yes! Same thing happened to me for a few days. I couldn't understand it. This was the only site that I come to that was giving me the virus scare. Then it went away?

In order of closeness to Pop/AoA with my unscientific commentary:

Hollywood Studios (really close)
Epcot (pretty close)
Animal Kingdom (may stop at Blizzard Beach to and from) (not so close)
Magic Kingdom (far)

Thank you! I was wondering the same thing!

I'm trying to find the answer to my question in this thread but can't. I apologize if it has been asked and answered several time! My question is, can you see the fireworks from any park while staying at AoA?

I'm really going to have to pick my brain because I don't remember which fireworks it was, maybe Epcot. But we were leaving the resort and crossing from the sidewalk to the parking lot, and saw the fireworks beautifully. It was dark but I think it would have been between the Nemo and Lion King sections.

It is possible to see some effects from the fireworks in the Epcot Illuminations: Reflections of Earth show at AoA (and at Pop Century). Keep in mind that Illuminations isn't a traditional fireworks show, so while you may be able to see some, it's not (in my opinion) really the same as seeing the show at Epcot.

With my FD PIN I do see availability in all sections of AoA (LM, Cars, LK, Nemo) for an 11/1 arrival.

(I put in arrive 11/1, depart 11/10, 2 adults, 1 child).

Thank you so much for checking for me! Now I just have to hope a PIN shows up for me or they go to GP on the FD soon. Such a relief! Thanks again! :flower3:

Just curious, how many bureau drawers are in the family suites? I have 5 in my family and am wondering if everyone will gave their own drawer space. Thanks.

The photos show two large dressers with several drawers. Look for a photo and you can see them!:thumbsup2

Here's my question for anyone who knows.

We stayed at POP once - one thing I didn't like about it was I felt like it was hard to find. When we stay at All Stars I know to just follow the signs for Animal Kingdom and at basically the last minute there will be signs for All Stars - so to me those resorts are really easy to find.

Question is - is there something 'large' and well signposted that I can follow the signs for to get to AoA (I know it's next to Pop but clearly that's not going to help me).

oh and yes, we'll have our car and we love our car so no buses for us (more room for everyone else!)

thanks!
