Are you going to go to MNSSHP? One of my favorites....

any ideas on what you are going to try?:confused3

MickMan our family is going to go to Epcot's Food and wine Festival Oct 16-18! I can't wait to taste those foods! this is our second time in Epcot Food and Wine Festival it's awesome!

We spent 6 wonderful days last week at ASSp! Never stayed on site before so had nothing to compare it to. Resort was clean, room was ready at check in (2PM) and had been cleaned everyday when we returned around 1:30PM for a break from the heat. Mousekeeping did some really cute arrangements on the bed with my grand daughters toys.

Our room requests were: higher floor, quiet area, connecting room. We were in Bldg 8 (Homerun), overlooking the Grand Slam pool, 3rd floor. It was not really a quiet area but the connecting rooms were much more important to us and we travel with ear plugs. It was much louder around the main pool, food court area. We also requested a frig and bed rails which were delivered to the room with 30 minutes of check in.

We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus. I would estimate that at least 90% of the time we did not share buses with the other All Stars. When we did it was during "slower" times and we liked being 1st off the bus.

We were really pleased with our stay.

Thanks for the report. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay! We arrive Friday and I can't wait!!

Can you guys help? I'd like to call and make a building request, but not sure what to request...

I'm paying just for a standard. This is a solo trip so trying to make it as cost-effective as possible.

I am doing the Race for the Taste 10K and am thinking I'd like to have to walk a shorter distance to my room (in case of sorenes and all). Which building/buildings would you recommend for this that are not preferred but still pretty close to main building/bus stops?

Thanks!

BTW... Leaving next Thursday! :cheer2: Never stayed at ASSports before!

Here is a link to the resort map:

Touchdown and then Hoops is the closest buildings that are not preferred.
Surf's up is the preferred building.

Good Luck with the race.

If it's on any help, the walk from Bldg 8 to the Food Court/Bus Area was about 3-4 minute walk at a leisurely pace.

Thanks. That does help. It seems depending on where you are in the various building they could all seem about the same distance apart. I'm not sure where to request. Maybe I won't request anything and just see what happens.

Do you know if upon check (after online check in) in they can change the room to a different one? I'd really just prefer to NOT have a parking lot view.

Thanks!

Oh and MickMan, thanks for the "good luck on the race!"
