We are booked for our first time at ASsp. So excited to be staying on property for our trip!!

I am thinking of trying to request a room on the back side of building 10 ground floor to be closer to the bus stop and main building. How noisy is that area?

Wanting to save my feet some steps at the end of the day.

that is what i always request.

it is quiet and not much of a foot path for others.

sometimes in the early morning you will hear trucks backing up in the area by the far end of TD 10 near the food court.

Yes.

They're "themed" a little bit-for example Grand Slam's fence has a "baseball" theme-I'll see if I can find some pics.

We just got FD for ASSp the week of Thanksgiving. We have never stayed there, and I know that week will be busier than we are used to, but I was wondering if there are any competitions that week at the resort? I am now getting nervous that there will be kids and teens everywhere, up until all hours.

Just booked my first stay at Sports for September - 5 nights with dining. Stayed in movies in 2000 (spent the whole time suffering from "all day" sickness) with then DH and DD3. Now it's just me going solo for my birthday.
Any recommendations on where to request? Will have a car but planning on using the transport to get out and about. Next stop BWV and Sapphire Falls for the rest of the trip.

Do they do the "Movies Under the Stars" by the Surfboard Bay pool or is it on the "football" field by Touchdown? I've seen pictures of them doing it by Touchdown but on the website, it says by the pool. Doesn't really matter much to me but I'm just wondering lol.

Two stays booked - June 11 & 12 (2 nights at end of a week off-site) with DH and grands - was able to get AP discount for that stay.
Going back September 13 for 4 nights with a friend who has not been to Disney in a very long time. - was able to get Back to School discount yesterday. I don't know what I would do without these message boards!

There are no major sports competitions scheduled that week. But there will be kids everywhere though as that is a very popular week.

I never thought Sports would have Fridges and I surely never thought Sports would have Pool Towels!

We are thinking of booking for December 10th through the 16th. This will be our first time staying at Sports. I have two little boys now and they love anything and everything that has to be with sports. I have looked at the ESPN Event Calendar and it appears that the POP Warner Cheer Event's last day is the 10th but there are two other events scheduled during this time. The USSSA Holiday Slow Pitch Classic and also KSA Classic Events Basketball. Does anyone know about these two events, are they usually really busy. Thank you! I am excited about our stay here. My oldest son is very excited and my two year old just keeps pointing the photos I show him saying "ooooo momma" LOL!

i had a reservation holding online but waited until today to submit it.

saved $240 with the special.
