I guess we won't here for a bit longer...

ALL STAR SUITES OPENING DELAYED
Deb Wills files this report, June 4th: The new Family Suites at the All Star Music Resort did not open today as originally scheduled. "We just found out this morning that the suites were still under construction and not ready to open," said one of the Front Desk Managers at Music. Instead, I was offered a "free" upgrade to a cabin at Ft. Wilderness. I found it hard to believe they did not know until this morning that the suites would not be opening. I was also dismayed that I received no call about the postponement. In addition, when I called at 2pm today to see if the room was ready, I was told Housekeeping had not cleared my room yet! The Front Desk Cast Member checking me in had no idea about suites at the All Stars! I was very disappointed as friends and I were looking forward to staying in one of the new suites. In addition to the option of moving to the Ft. Wilderness Cabins (a place I did not wish to stay), I was also offered the option of 2 regular rooms at the All Stars or a total refund of my deposit.
I was told they should be open by Wednesday of this week. Even still, if you have a reservation for the All Star Music Suites anytime in the next 7 days, I would call to inquire about the status. 20 Suites will be available sometime soon in the Jazz Building #2. Tomorrow a block of rooms in the Calypso building will close down to be renovated into suites. As long as there is a demand for the rooms, they will continue to offer a block of them in several other buildings in All Star Music. The manager I spoke with also confirmed that if all goes well, the uncompleted section of Pop Century could very well become family suites.
