Busses have been better than I expected. The longest we have waited is 20 minutes or so. (One time). There are several charter busses helping out. Several times we have walked right on to a bus leaving the parks.

Are the charter buses treated the same way as the regular buses? Divided into sections, no standing,etc?

We checked into Movies on Sunday. Will be here until this coming Sunday. We have not spent a lot of time at the resort but I can try to answer questions.

Any signs of construction at Music or Sports? Music was in the midst of a refurbishment when the parks closed and Sports was next. They were working on these buildings when everything closed, not sure if you can get close enough to peek.

My daughter and I stayed at Movies from the 22nd to the 29th. We were in the Dalmatians building 1. We were originally assigned in Toy Story and had several room changes before we ended up in Dalmatians. Reasons included dirty rooms on opening day and non working a/c.

We had a very bad week with buses and heard quite a few others complaining also, however I have read that some people had amazing bus luck.

We were on several of the charter buses and there were no assigned seats and they used all seats and rows. No folding of strollers as they went under the bus. Also not handicapped accessible.

As the week went on the lines for the beverage refills greatly increased especially in the evenings as they only had two cast members filling drinks. They gave out large disney cups as many as you wanted. They never touched the mugs.

Pools were not at capacity while we were there, but the Fantasia pool was closed one evening for a while due to a broken light bulb.

Music and Sports were lit up as we passed and they had Disney security stationed at the entrance to both hotels near the doors. They also had some in the parking lots as we passed by.

There is definitely a crowd here. We usually have to wait 5-10 minutes to get drink refills. We have not mobile ordered yet, but it seems efficient. The CM’s are very nice and helpful.

I was going to get a drink at the pool bar yesterday but gave up because the line was not moving and there was only one person working.

Yesterday was the first day that I know of that the main pool went on a wait. Dh and ds went down around 2 and got in fine. There was a wait by 4. It was hot here yesterday. The next few days will be cooler.

Nice to hear Sports and Music are lit up-always such a pretty sight when returning from the Parks at night-I bet they are jealous of their Little Sister though!lol

I totally agree about Daily Housekeeping-we have stayed at Pop Century twice in Covid World and SO missed swinging that door open when returning from the Parks in the late afternoon to a freshly made Bed and cleaned up room!

Just got a call from Disney. They moved me from All Star Movies to Coronado Springs for my trip next month. Dates are 4/16-4/25. I didn’t think to ask why we were moved.

Yep they called me. I have all the Disney numbers programed into my phone so I knew right away it was them.

Nope, not working with a TA.

I'm pretty sure the upgrade has to do with the large Cheerleading group that's coming in the same week as we are and staying at Movies.

I'm pretty sure the upgrade has to do with the large Cheerleading group that's coming in the same week as we are and staying at Movies.

I'm going during a big cheerleading thing in may for 5 nights, I know asm is booked completely and I've been searching for other availability to "get away" from the cheerleaders lol without breaking the bank but noting is available with the extra 2 park day tickets offer !!

My nephew's heart was set on staying at All-Star Sports in December. I'm still holding out hope that they will open by then, but if we stay at All Star Movies instead, is it available to walk through & see all the big icons at least? (If not, I'm gonna have to break the bank & keep our AKL reservation!)

Yes.

The charter buses did not have plastic dividers up like the Disney buses, but we were instructed when boarding to leave a row between separate parties.

It looks like preferred rooms are booked solid during my dates (6/15-6/12)

Any other recomendations for what to ask for? I will spend almost no time at the hotel, so my only consideration is close to buses (I don't use the pools at Disney resorts usually) I usually stay at POP but couldn't get it this time.
