That's great. I'm only 4'10" so it sounds as though I'll just be able to peek over it myself so I don't need to worry about my boy

You might find a 1st floor room more convenient but I wouldn't panic if you don't get it.

If your DS is a runner I think I would worry more about him running in the parks. I got my kids silicone bracelets with my cell # on one side and DH's cell # on the other. They were pretty inexpensive and have lasted years. I even have the kids wear them when they go on field trips with school. We did loose my youngest one time when were with a large group of friends. She was probably only missing about a minute and when we found her there were several CM's with her. At the time she was too shy to tell them about her bracelets so we told if it happened again she didn't have to talk to them but could just show them her bracelet. She was very good about pulling away from us after that though.

I was about to book a room for Spring break. But I wanted to know if there is a website to find out if there were any large groups staying at ASMo? I really want to stay at movies but will book Pop or POR if necessary. Thanks in advance

We were going to stay there, but cheerleaders will be at the All Stars in general (including ASMo) something like March 7-23 (2 different groups). They are allowed to book ASResorts and CBR. We will be at POFQ. POFQ and parts of POR are refirbed, but POR refirb is not complete.

I know the pop Warner folks stay there in Dcember, but not sure of the dates for 2012.

Usually the Pop Warner group stays there in the beginning of Dec.

We were there the last week of Nov. last year. There weren't any large tour groups but there were still a ton of people because of free dining. The bus lines were insane.

Thank you for your help! I think we will just book POFQ or Pop. Where so you find out about groups during your stay? I know there is a convention webpage for CSR, but that is the only one I found.

The kids wanted POFQ or ASMo this year so I googled Disney Cheer March 2012 and came up with the dates from 2 groups. I actually booked ASMo fearing the cheerleaders would be there and POR, but due to the POFQ/POR refirb they were moved to CBR and the All Stars in general.

That said, none of the girls were rude, just lots of them and we did not want to hear them practicing at all hours of the night.

I keep checking everywhere for updates on this, as well!! I'm just hoping that it is really true and not just a rumor, because we'll be there mid-April

March 5 – May 11, 2012: Beverage cooler installation in Guest rooms. Installation will take place one floor at a time between 9am and 5pm. Guests will be notified via an in-room flier the day before the work is scheduled to take place.

That could explain why no one has seen them. Originally they were supposed to go in at the end of Jan to March. Looks like they haven't even started yet.

If they've not even started yet, I'm wondering if they'd start work at building 1 and end with number 10 like they did with the refurb?! We requested a Toy Story building which could be last, right? So we might miss out (I needed to book preferred to use a PIN and that's our top choice)

Maybe it will go fast once they start.

I booked preferred and asked for Dalmations. They are scheduled to be complete on my check out day. Hoping to get a room with one if we hear first hand from other guests that they do keep drinks cool.
