Two things on our list this year are DisneyQuest and Typhoon Lagoon. We have a waterpark near home and usually only spend 3-4 hours there even though it is quite large. How long (on average) do these attractions take??? It is just me (22) and my fiancee (24). No kids. ;)

Me(26) and my wife (21) just came back from disney last week and went to typhoon lagoon, we went there around 10am and stayed till close, 5pm. There was plenty to do and if you do everything including the lazy river and eat lunch and just walk around, it could take a whole day maybe. Depending on how many times you ride the on the slides and the wait in lines.

Disney Quest Im not sure, but is it that fun? It cost as much as a water park. Im not sure what you can do but it seems like it was mainly kids in there when I went by there.

Yes! DisneyQuest IS that fun! Just got back last night from a week in WDW (SO sad to be home, I can't even tell you) - DisneyQuest was so much fun. We spent about 3 hours there, since we're not really that into video games, but there's more to it than that. You absolutely MUST try Cyberspace Mountain. You design your own rollercoaster, then you ride it in a simulator! I am deathly afraid of rollercoasters, and was trying to get my courage up to actually ride one, so we designed 3 of them, each with gradually more speed, twists/turns and finally a loop. I LOVED it! We even bought the DVD of one of our coaster rides - you see your coaster on a small screen, and the video shows your faces the entire ride! (the video is only $12 - 4$ less than your picture on Rock n' Roller Coaster).

Because of DisneyQuest, I actually rode Rock n' Roller Coaster! (turns out it was way faster and scarier than anything I could've designed myself, but at least I went, which was a huge turning point in my life!)

In addition to CyberSpace Mountain, there are a lot of other virtual rides, like Pirates of the Carribean, Jungle Cruise, etc. and there's a terrific Disney Animation Class, where you learn (with an instructor) how to draw a specific Disney character. The living easels are great too.

Don't miss DisneyQuest!

havent done DQ
we usually get to TL around 11 and stay to close as well. There is a lot to do including lounging in the sun which can take for me ummm well, long enough.

A suggestion, take your own car if you have one. It works out easier than the busses for us. Just easier to get out of there and if you want to leave some sneakers and some other things in there you can.

My DH and I (also no kids) usually go to the water parks right when they open (to avoid crowds), and stay about 4 hours. By the time we're ready to leave, the crowds are pouring in. By the way, if you haven't been to Blizzard Beach yet, check it out - they have the best slides!

My DH (26) and I (25) just went to Disney last month. We went to Typhoon Lagoon - arrived around 10:30 and we left about 1, having ridden every water slide there, snorkeled with the sharks, and spent some time in the wave pool. We went back to Pop Century, ate lunch there, changed and showered - and then headed out to DTD and Disneyquest. We shopped a little, and then probably spent about 3-4 hours at Disneyquest. We had dinner at Ghiradelli's (ice cream sundaes!), shopped and looked around a little more and then went to Pleasure Island. It was one of my favorite days of the whole trip.

I should mention though, that all these places were totally empty. We never waited for anything at Typhoon Lagoon, and I swear there were only 10 other people at DisneyQuest. I played Skeeball for over 30 minutes, and never even saw anyone else in that room. We were alone on Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride, Jungle Cruise, and Pirates of the Carribbean - there was only one other person making a cyber rollercoaster. They were begging people to go on the Buzz Lightyear game, and everywhere was empty. I actually wish it had been a little more busy - I think Pirates and the Buzz ride would have been more fun with more people. I do think that if Typhoon Lagoon and Disneyquest had been more crowded, we wouldn't have been able to get as much done in the same amount of time.

we usually stay at TL for about 3 hours....but that's because we now only do the things we adore.....to do everything at TL will take longer than 3 hours...

the absolute musts are Crush and Gusher (their new slide....totally amazingly stupendous!!!); the lazy river, the wave pool (a real surf pool, not like the wave pools at most waterparks - my kids actually took the early morning surfing course here twice....before the park opens)...
then all the other slides are also fun and you really should try them all out as well (the regular tube slides, body slides, speed slide, family slide)...

it's all great fun....to do everything you'll need probably at least 4 to 5 hours....

Myself and boys 11, 13, 14 went to DQ only because it was part of our options package. It was not the highlight of our trip. When the boys saw the regular door price to get it they said it was definatley not worth it. I agreed with them

As for TL we spent 4 hours there and left because we got rained out. Probably would have stayed another hour because then we would have to get ready for dinner. This was a great change from the other parks.

You can spend the whole day 10-5 at Typhoon Lagoon.
We use Disney Quest as a filler...the thing to do the first night you get there, or if you go to a park that closes early.

Disney Quest generally takes about 3 hours depending on the crowd. 3-4 to do "everything" unless it is crowded....
