Thanks for the kind words. I saw how your personalized Mickey heads kinda took over your life. I don't mind doing some as time permits, but I can't promise to let it take over my life, nor can I promise to have any as good as yours are.

no pressure DisneyMom92! but I'd vote for you!
And, there's no reason why there couldn't be guidelines either! Chat with Kari about the issues that made it overwhelming (i.e., too many requests from one person, too many requests, too short deadline requested... maybe all of the above). Then you could put some guidelines in place before you made a commitment. You could also timebox your commitment (i.e., I'm only making Disney heads for the month of April [then we'll see]). You could perhaps encourage a "swap" much like th stroller swap - you commit to doing heads in April, someone else commits for the month of May, someone else for all requests coming in June, etc.

I think it might be best to set some guidelines so nobody suffers from burnout from the job. Maybe you just do the generic heads and folks have to figure out how to customize them on their own or something else that would make the task easier.
