I have not eaten them, but everyone I have heard talk about them says they are awesome. They have a cart on Main Street in DL and they say those are the best.

Guests really rave about the corn dogs from the Little Red Wagon on Main Street. It's very popular here on the Disboards. I've had it once and it was okay, but it didn't really wow me. However, I'm kind of ambivalent about corn dogs in general.

I had one and I feel like it was a waste of $8. It wasn't awesome, imo. I like my home-made ones better. The DL ones were soaked through in grease. I was unimpressed. I'm probably in the minority but they were so greasy they gave me a stomach ache. I wouldn't go back for another one.

I love them. When we went a week ago, the line (at times) stretched from the end of Main Street past Plaza Inn.

We timed it so we didn't have to wait that long.

I normally don't care much for corn dogs but I love the ones at DL. I think they are worthy of the hype. Everyone in my family really likes them. Supposedly there is a Food Truck in DTD now at WDW that has the DL recipe but I can't confirm that. BTW the churro I had at Magic Kingdom did not equal the ones at DL either.

On the same topic. Does anyone know what kind of meat they're made from? Some people in my party don't eat pork. I think WDW uses chicken for their corn dog nuggets. I don't remember seeing full size corn dogs at WDW.

They are heavenly. I did not find them to be overly greasy. Looking forward to having one or two on our next visit.

You may be in the minority, but you are not alone. My family's impression of the corn dogs is the same--soaked in and dripping grease, crunchy from being over-fried, kind of nasty actually. And we tried both the red wagon and the castle, just in case we had bad luck at only one. Nope--they were the exact same corn dogs prepared the exact same way.

Amazing!!! I prefer the ones from the red wagon in DL vs the Corn Dog Castle at DCA, not sure if it's the same recipe or not, it could just be all in my head that DL one are better but I'll have 2-3 per trip. Mmmm I want one now lol.

The cornbread isn't sweet enough for my family. I've had many better corn dogs in my time. But again, others love them. It's just going to depend on you.

I like them but, I had an issue with how greasy. We found a solution, make sure you have a lot of napkins and wrap it with them to soak off the excess oil.

They are good but not nearly as good as they are raved about here.

They were better when they were using an all-beef dog (many moons ago), they switched to turkey dogs (I think) at some point and they are just not as good.

We got a corn dog at Corn Dog Castle in California Adventure. It was darn near perfect. The outside was dark brown and crispy but the inside was creamy/fluffy and warm. The dog itself was very good, well seasoned and juicy. My mom and I split one (along with chips and drink) and it was the perfect lite lunch/snack for the two of us. However we are snackers and it's really a one person meal.

My mom hates turkey and could not tell the difference, I will probably never tell her that Disney uses a turkey dog. HAHA. Personally I like turkey dogs.

Ours was not greasy and just a cultural thing but as soon as you put sugar in corn batter it's a muffin, not bread. I can not even imagine a sweet muffin taste on a hot dog.

They are the same Corn Dogs as those at the Little Red Wagon. Plus here you can get a cheese stick or hot link too. The hot link was pretty yummy when I got it a couple years ago.
