Disneyland's Cinderlla Castle

I just became engaged, and have always had my sights on the Cinderella Carriage! I recently met with a sales rep at disney for the wedding tour, and fell in love with the idea of getting married right in front of Cinderella's Castle! I am just waiting for the dates that are available.

If any of you, had your wedding in front of Cinderella's Castle and want to share your pictures,video OR anything....I AM ALL EARS! (punt intended...heehee)

I am so excited and can not get enough of looking at anyhthing to do with this!

Hi! Welcome to the DIS and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

I think it's great that you might be able to have your wedding in front of the castle. There are only a very small amount of people that get to do that, and how neat that you just might be able to be one of those couples!! That is SO exciting!

Unfortunately, I don't really have any tips in regards to that, as we are having an intimate ceremony at WDW in 10/2007.

I just wanted to mention, and I really hope this doesn't come across as snooty, but the castle here at DL is Sleeping Beauty's castle. Cinderella's castle is in MK at WDW. Which is totally unfortunate for me as Cinderella is, and has always been, my favorite princess and that castle is so much more elaborate than ours at DL. Although, I think it would be very cool to be able to get married in front of either castle. Especially since the one at DL is the original, but then the one at MK is Cinderella's and much more impressive. The only reason I wanted to point that out was because if you really have your heart set on it being Cinderella's castle, then you might want to consider a WDW wedding. Which might seem crazy as you live in OC, CA (as do I), but we decided it would be better for us because we were already planning a WDW honeymoon. We looked into having our wedding at DL, but found, for us, it would make more sense to do it all together.
