Disneyland Resort Picture of the Day #5!!

This time I'm making it a goal to just sit in this room and stare. There is SO MUCH in here!
Emmers, there really is alot to look at in this room
Perfect exposure here Mikey. Stunning clarity.
Thanks Mike. i wish i was able to get the scenes on the tv's a little clearer
I'm doing something a little different. I'm not posting one of my own photos. Instead, I'm going to quote/share a photo that ended up on the last page of the previous POTD thread, from DIS'er deejdigsdis (who is not on the DIS much these days)...

I was afraid that her photo got overlooked because it was posted right before that thread was closed.

I think this is a fantastic photo - and it supports what you all were discussing a while back, which is that a great photo doesn't necessarily have to come from the most expensive camera. This is a Point & Shoot picture, and it tells a story and makes an impact. I always say that same thing too - a great photo mostly comes from your imagination, creativity and having an eye or a vision for what would make an interesting shot. The equipment just helps to execute that vision a little better.

What I love about this particular shot from deejdigsdis above is that it evokes a certain mood or feeling. First of all, it's different. It is not the typical POTD-type of Disneyland Resort shot we see, and it is very specific to her trip. But there is almost a certain wistfulness, innocence and nostalgia about it, while it also captures a child's pure joy of being at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Sherry, Thanks for reposting this. It is a Fantastic shot and does tell a story.

I forget if I posted this one yet or not, but we got a real kick out of Mater's quote. It is (or was, maybe) in the Blue Sky Cellar. Those Imagineers!

Same. Tiana is my favorite princess. :goodvibes I haven't had the pleasure of seeing her in the park!

I hope you get a chance to see her. I got the opportunity to see her perform in New Orleans Square in 2010 and do a meet and greet. She was so wonderful with the people that came to see her.

What's great about this picture is the sheer excitement I can get when I am this close to the parks. Wish I could be there now.

Mike, I know the feeling, i get that excitement also. I would love to be there now too.
I agree, love how you can see the tip of a few icons, but you don't get the whole view... it teases the excitement for the day ahead! Nice capture of that feeling with this pic. :thumbsup2

Thanks for your kind comments!
