Yes. I think there are even benches over there nowI would guess no. They aren't even running trams in WDW. As I recall didn't they turn the tram road into a pedestrian walkway?
Aren't they still doing vaccines in the TS lot?I would guess no trams. They aren’t using the parking lot trams at WDW either. They’ve set up the tram pathway as a walkway with benches and garbage cans at DL. And with reduced capacity I would assume only Mickey and friends and the new Pixar parking structures would be used and not Toy story lot.
The website was updated, and mentioned what amenities will be offered when the parks reopen.

Yes. They won’t be using that lot anytime soon.Aren't they still doing vaccines in the TS lot?
Agreed! Even if that means they don’t open all the hotels right away. Thanks for the link. I have to say, if they aren't offering extra magic hours, then I certainly hope they offer guaranteed admission if you stay onsite. Those are steep prices to pay for no perks.

That's great, but it really doesn't change anything. LA and Orange County are already under 7. Unless we get another spike we'll be under 1 before DL plans to open. The 2M equity vaccines goal has been met, and Orange County will move to red tier on Sunday.

This has been done for past CHOC Walks. See this video from CHOC Walk 2019 for examples on how characters were distanced (for non-COVID reasons) and how effective it was (start scanning from about the 25 minute mark for characters throughout the Walk):... I'm pretty sure DL will handle characters the same way they are at WDW too. They will be social distanced and wave to you. I could see some riding around on the street cars or on the River Boat.
Well done, that's a very important point. At WDW they do it to avoid the morning queue and there is no "rope drop". With announcement of no EMH at DL, it's totally reasonable to expect the same. And if they stagger other arrivals (buses, parking garages) the morning could be really cool for a lucky few.At WDW they aren’t officially doing EMH, but parks opened 45 min to an hour early. It changed daily. It was awesome. No huge crowds gathering. They usually let buses in first, then cars parking. Sometimes certain attractions were already running. Sometimes you could queue up for attractions not open yet. I’m assuming DL will do something similar.

How big is the room? So that comes to $640 a night at your higher price, so somewhere between a room at DLH and Grand. It's possible.Speculation time- If attendance is limited to CA residents and IF hotel guests get priority on reservations.... do you think I could sell my VGC 3 night Memorial Day weekend reservation for $25/ point? That’d be $1600? $30 if only VGC is open with priority? That’s $1920?
Our plan has been to go regardless, and we still might, .... but now I’m almost thinking about selling and using the money to go to the Hotel Del instead.
