Disneyland Park TRIVIA

Yup. Can you give a guess on how much it was?

Gosh, I was recently looking at the year by year scale they have on Wiki showing the constant price increase going back to 1955... I don't want to cheat! Someone else can take a stab at it.

Q-What is the average depth of The Rivers of America and where is it's deepest spot (whatt is the exact name of the spot)?

Q-What is the scale ratio of The Matterhorn ride to the actual Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland? 1/10, 1/50 or 1/100th?

Autopia to the last question on what opening day attractions are still running.:bitelip:

Roy bought it for $1!!!! I wish I could get one for that price!!
I didnt know that the next 3 people in line were given lifetime passes! WOW!

I thought the Auctioneer on Pirates was actually Paul Frees?

As did I. I though Walt was a different pirate, guess I should wear my glasses when on POTC:lmao:

Just reposting some questions that I dont think were answered yet?

What was the inspiration of audio-amnitronics?

Who was Walts first animated character?

Where on POTC is the pirate that is Walt? Was it the auctioneer? Just need clarification

What is the scale ratio of the Matterhorn ride to the Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland? 1/10th, 1/50th, or 1/100th.

What is the average depth of ROA, and where is the deepest point? (give exact name of the spot)

I heard that there were 11 imagineers (more or less) whose features were repeatedly used throughout the attraction, and none of them were Walt Disney. So, don't know. :)

What was the inspiration of audio-amnitronics?
I think it was the ravens that Walt wanted to put in the restaurants to overhear and interact with guests while dining.

Who was Walts first animated character?

Owald the rabbit.

1/100th (and there IS a basketball hoop up there)

What is the average depth of ROA, and where is the deepest point? (give exact name of the spot)

I thought it was 8 feet, and I would think that the deepest spot would be where the Jungle Cruise water flows into the Rivers of America -- pure guess on my part.

That is what I had thought, but I do see people on here talking about Walt on the ride.

Owald the rabbit.
Yes, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is correct!! To my knowledge anyways!!

Mary Jo is correct, the Matterhorn is 1/100th the size of the real Matterhorn.

I've always heard that Walt's likeness is included in the characters on Pirates but I really don't think he currently is one of the faces, I've carefully looked them all over repeatedly and none look like him. I'm almost certain The Auctioneer is in fact based on Paul Frees who is most famous for being the "ghost host" narrator on The Haunted Mansion.

From what I know ROA and Jungle Cruise water no longer is connected and they are both dyed independantly. Originally the two waterways were linked together but when Pirates and New Orleans Square were created the two had to be separated.

Rivers of America average deep spots are 6-8 feet but the "deepest point" is still out there... Think about it, the second part of the question is 'what is the name of the spot' so that is a hint as only one "spot" on ROA actually has a more specific name. Think about it...

I thought they were still connected, at lest more recently than the creation of NOS and POTC. Possibly not now, but definately not at the creation of NOS and POTC. Not sure, but I have been told that from several sources. Who knows really? Just another secret I suppose:confused3

I have no idea about the "spot" which when answered, I will feel so stuoid.:headache:

Would the deepest spot be Fowlers Harbor then? Not sure if I have the name down correctly - where the Columbia docks when it isn't sailing.

My answer about the inspiration for audio animatronics is that WD wanted to have interactive ravens in his restaurant. The restaurant didn't happen, but we have the Tiki Room instead.
