Disneyland Paris - cheaper to book on French website!

That is not necessarily true as on the UK site you get Half Board meals where as on the French site you don't or at least i didn't which I have just discovered..

It is known by users on this forum, but appreciate it probably isn't known widely. Although it has been featured on Watchdog before and Disney confirmed that any offer can be booked regardless of what country you're in. Most of us routinely check all other websites in the EU.

You can benefit from any countries offer by either booking directly from that countries website. Put your own address in but leave the country the same as the website you're visiting, eg France. Nothing is posted, all confirmation is sent via email. Or you can call the Disney booking line and tell them you've seen an offer on another site and you can pay a deposit to book.

aj2703 - if you look at the example in the link (and I checked on the websites, it is correct), this is for a like for like comparison. Half board is extra for both.

Ms Poppins - Why should anyone have to check multiple websites? Especially foreign languages where you risk getting something wrong by ticking a box incorrectly.

You shouldn't have to. I was just trying to help, not justifying Disney marketing. I use google translate.

it also depends what dates, how many in your party, how many nights you prefer to book for etc etc - the UK site is not always the most expensive, sometimes its the cheapest, it just depends when you're ready to book and what offers each country has going at the time.

I never book any onsite package for DLP unless I'm getting at least the equivalent of 40% off, because experience has taught me that there will always be an offer like that on one country's website or another.

eta - its the same story booking WDW - the UK site has completely different offers to the US version, but anyone can book on either one, whichever offer suits them best.

When I booked our trip from the US, I used the UK site! It was a much better deal than we were being offered here even with the conversion. I checked several other countries, too! I also used google translate. Doesn't hurt to have to do a little homework and shop around. I do the same with airlines.

Hi
Do you think there might be a late offer with good percentage off for nov/beg dec time

this year? you just missed a flash sale, at the start of this month, for trip dates from beginning November until mid-December.

I just checked the cost for 5 (3 adults, 2 kids) from the US it's $405 for 1 day MINI tickets, but I put in the Ile-de-France page and it's 221 Euro (about $250). That's a HUGE savings! I'll be booking it that way!

Shop around, too. Try the UK site, the Irish site, etc. You may be surprised at the deals you can find ;)

I booked our trip (2 adults, 1 13yr old, 1 10yr old and a 1 yr old from 19-23 Dec) on the French booking line. The cost was £1400 for hotel and park tickets on the English site but we got hotel, park tickets, half board plus and a character breakfast for £980 on the French site. Massive savings if you're willing to shop around
