Disneyland - No option to use DAS on Rise of the Resistance?

Today is our first day at Disneyland and I noticed that Rise is not available to book in the app? In June we had no issues using it- once the crowds die down I'm going to try and find a CM to ask.

They didn't get rid of DAS for Rise?! I checked and the ride is operational.

Everyone needs to get a virtual return time for Rise. Once you get a virtual return time, when your window opens, you can show your DAS to the CM at the ride and get moved to an expedited line. But you cannot avoid getting a virtual return time first, which is why it doesn’t show up as a DAS selection.

RoR no longer uses a virtual queue.

If the ride is not showing up in DAS it's probably because it's down or the DAS user tried too late in the evening and the stand by line posted wait time is past closing, however you can check at the blue umbrellas and they may be able to give a return time.

Look under Star Wars Rise of the Resistance. I just looked this AM on the Disneyland app and it is there. So yesterday, it may have been down or too late in the day. I have not been in over a month (we were at WDW for 2 weeks though), but have always been able to get it at DL.

Whoa...flashback to 2019...

Rise hasn't operated this way in nearly 3 years.

Early Oct. 2021 —Rise of the Resistance @ DLR was most definitely using Virtual Queue, as was Webslingers over at DCA.… so it was just a year or so ago.

I have no recollection of that at all. We have been visiting regularly since the reopening in May 2021 and bought our Magic Keys in September that year. I don't recall RotR using virtual queue.

ROTR did have the virtual queue when the parks reopened in 2021. I think those ended in late October or early November last year. We would have to try for the ROTR virtual queue at 7 AM and hope for an early one so we could then get Webslingers at 1 PM. Only failed one time to get both in 1 day!

Huh. Okay, then. I don't remember that. And I know we rode RotR a bunch of times because my husband hadn't had a chance to do so prior to the closures. I guess I had forgotten about the VQ.

Yeah, it definitely still had VQ until November 21, 2021 with the twice daily drops at 7am and noon. It went to standby and no VQ starting on November 22, 2021.
