I know you can "link" ressies at DVC resorts that are point and cash reservations, and I would assume you could do the same at non DVC resorts of the Disney collection but I wanted to see if anyone can confirm this for me. . .since we all know what happens when you assume!

DL is nothing like WDW. You don't use your room ID for charging or as a ticket. You can't check in before 3PM. So it may be difficult to link reservations.

You can link cash and points reservations at WDW if both are reserved through Member Services. They can't link cash reservations through CRO, just note your record. I don't think MS can make cash reservations for DL, so I don't think there could be an official "link". You would need to go to the front desk in the morning and get new keys. No guarantee you can stay in the same room.

This is one of those situations that you can ask the front desk staff about on check-in. It is possible to accomodate. However, you might find that you've been "checked out" between your bookings - and on that date you'd be best going down to the front desk first thing in the morning and re-affirming that you're still "linked" between the 2 ressies. Hope that helps!

I just did this. I stayed Friday and Saturday on a package booked through Costco. Then Sunday and Monday on points at the GCH.

I made sure it was noted on both reservations, DVC and Costco, for them to be linked. Then I called the hotel about a week before to make sure they were linked. When I checked in there was absolutely no problem. I never need to check out and back in. It might not happen this way all the time, but it can be done.

Thanks spaddy, that is what I was hoping for. . .long story but our church board secretary is resigning after many years of dedicated service and we are looking at giving her a Disneyland vacation, a favorite place for her, as a gift. I was going to donate a night and was hoping we could purchase other nights and link the ressies for her. . . so I am glad there is some precedence!
