We are going back "home" on 10/18/07 for in the hopes of the Halloween Treat going on that weekend, as it would be the same time as the 06 date was, I was wondering what the park is like busy wise as we've never been except during December. Also any info on what it's like at the Disneyland Resort during the Halloween time??? Thanks for any answers~

From what I've been able to tell, the Halloween festivities last year were a complete success and DLR is planning to get even more elaborate this year. Read complete success as the parks were pretty busy. And don't forget IASW is down at that time geting it's holiday makeover.

We are going the at the same time. I hear it is a popular time to go and I am sure that week-ends and Friday night will be crowded. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Fantasmic will be back that Friday night! :smickey:

We were there for the October 22nd Halloween Treat last year and the crowds weren't that bad. But we were there a Sun-Mon-Tues and the weekdays were definitely much better.

We were also there for the October 22 MHT. We arrived Friday and left Tuesday. The weekend was pretty busy, but not awful. Monday was good. Also, ISWA didn't go down till Monday the 23 so we had two days to ride it.

We were there at that time too. The weekdays weren't bad at all, a little busier than normal for that time of year, but the lines moved really fast. We never stood in line for more than 10-15 minutes, and some rides had less than a 5 minute wait.

The weekends are busier and more crowded, but when aren't the weekends like that?!:goodvibes And, even on Saturday (the first day we were there), we didn't have any problems waiting in long lines. (It was kind of weird because there were A LOT of people there, so the park looked very crowded, but the lines moved so fast that the crowds didn't really have a negative impact.)

On Sunday, we were at the park late that night and were able to watch the second showing of Fantasmic.......HARDLY ANYONE WAS THERE! IT WAS AWESOME!:cool1:

Then Monday - Thurs it was much quieter at the parks. We got to ride everything multiple times without a problem, then we went back to the Paradise Pier every afternoon by 3:00pm to swim and relax. (It was VERY HOT while we were there, around 88-90 degrees!)

I think it's a great time to visit. Just be aware that many Arizona schools (and possibly others) are on fall break around that time.

I don't know when they go on sale, but last year I booked our trip for MHT on October 22, 30 days before and when I went to get tickets the web site said they were sold out. I called and it turns out they still had some tickets, but took them off the web site before they were completely sold out. I start looking 60-90 days before.

Went last year for my birthday (18-22) - 5th in a row - and it wasn't bad at all. Didn't do the MHT but will this year. Best part was the AP rate, somewhere around $160 for a view room.

I don't remember the exact dates but I bought ours in August and that was after hemming and hawing for awhile! But they did go on sale to AP's first for a few weeks before anyone else could buy!
