I just remember that someone posted 97 and i went with it. Does it really matter it was hotter? 97 is bad enough. 102 is just ridiculous. I'd be shopping to stay cool.

102 is nuts! I cannot imagine being at DL (or any outdoor, busy place) when it's that hot!!!

Trust me, if it had been up to me I (and my friend) probably would have chucked the whole thing and figured--"next time" and headed for the closest bar/restaurant (emphasis on the bar)--but we had an 8 year old girl and her Dad with us who were totally gung ho and would have been VERY upset with us if we quit . . . . so we persevered.

Hopefully it was good training for the next time

I soooo hope its not that hot next week! I am from Washington, and when it was 44 today, I was out and about in just me tee shirt and jeans. We had a heat wave on Saturday.. It was a whopping 75. We almost melted at the zoo!!

Made an attempt to be a little crafty this weekend and put together a "post card" for our trip. You can see it on the Shutterfly account. I'll bring some copies to share...

Oh, and does anybody collect or like Disney pins? I got a couple of the "Where Dreams Come True" Tinker Bell pins in the mail in the MickeyMOMSClub packet today. I already have this pin (from getting dreamed at DCA), so these are extra if anyone wants them.

My little attempt to spread the magic. If only I had Dream Fast Passes and Dream Suites to share...

Hi Megan. I know what you mean! When we lived in MI, I got used to the cold pretty quick. After months of freezing temps, when it would reach around 50, it actually felt warm to me. I'd have all my windows open.

It was hot here today. Not as bad as they've had it in CA from what I've heard, but certainly a sign of what's to come. Oh well, I guess I can't complain. I got myself into this mess! It's not like we didn't know how hot it gets here in the summer.

Thank goodness for central air! Starting June 1st, I'm plopping my bootie down under the AC vent and not moving until next Halloween.

Hi there!! Sure! There are a couple others coming with their families who are planning to ditch them for a few hours (days? ) so they can hang out for awhile.

If you haven't already, take a look at the "schedule" on the front page. You'll see what's happening and when. Look it over and decide what you'd like to do and what will work with your family plans. Maybe you could join up for a meal or a Food and Wine event.

Accuweather has these temps listed for the trip. It looks pretty good! Wouldn't want it any hotter then that.
And it seems to cool down nicely in the evenings. Just about perfect, I'd say. Let's hope it stays that way!
