Ladies!

I just thought we'd start up a little questionnaire about our own daily plans for the trip since it assumable that we won't be together 24/7

1] When are you arriving & Leaving? (Both date & Time frame)

I will be arriving sometime Thursday morning. The earliest I can leave the kid at school is 7:30, so hope to get on the road then. I am leaving on Saturday after the Goofy breakfast!!!

2] What is the first thing you're going to do when you arrive?

Kind of depends on the time. I will likely check in to the hotel so I can park for free. But, if I manage to park in Pumba (often free), I might just park there and run to the park and start collecting fast passes. Oh, and check in with Michelle. I must do Space and ToT, it's a rule!!!!!

3] Will you be meeting up for meals? Which ones?

I am scheduled for Jazz Kitchen and House of Blues. Hopefully I will be able to do them....budget getting a bit pinchy!! Oh, and Goofy's kitchen too!


4] Will you be staying at the parks til they kick you out & busting the gates open in the morning?

I am sadly an early riser. I naturally wake up before 7 every day if any natural light gets in the room. I think with the four of us in the room, we will have to work out the shower rotationa. I wanna be there for rope drop!!!!! I usually can keep going into the night as well. If the weather is hot or the crowds are way too much, I do wear out a bit. But, give me an energy drink and I will keep moving.

5] Are you participating in the any tours?

I am, and very excited about the VIP tour!!!!!!

1. I arrive in Long Beach airport at 1:35pm on Thursday. My DH and DSs will drive down from Bay Area on Friday, so I will meet up with them Friday late night. Saturday we're going to Legoland and then Sunday and Monday we'll enjoy the DL/DCA parks as a family. So I have Thursday and Friday to myself

2. First thing I'll do is to check into hotel -- Residence Inn. Will probably meander to DL/Downtown Disney after check in.

3. Will be joining DL Ladies for Jazz Kitchen dinner on Thursday and Blue Bayou Friday.

4. I'm an early bird -- love to get to the parks before they open and run out of steam before closing.

5. Will do the VIP tour on Friday. I'm doing the Segway Tour on Friday 7am if anyone wants to join me!

I'm so excited for the trip!

Check in the room and head to DTD for dinner.

Just popping in to say Hello. Sorry I have been afk been writing letters for the kids on VMK. Trying to do what I can to help. They are all so sad .

But now finished writing so here I am. Today was learning how to take apart scooter and put it together again. Lets just say it will be an adventure rofl.

1. I'm arriving Thursday afternoon somewhere between 330 and 4 in the afternoon. I'm leaving around 8 in the morning on Monday.

2. Drop my stuff off in my room and head off to DL. I can't believe I will have time to myself so that I can walk around and explore and take lots of pictures.

3. I believe I'm signed up for all of the meals...I still need to print all of that stuff out so I don't miss any of the get togethers.

4. I'm a morning person, not by choice mind you... I have MM for one morning, so I want to take advantage of that. I am going to try to close the park each night....

5. VIP tour for me.

Leaving Saturday may 3rd not sure what time.

Unpack maybe go to the beach we have deluxe passes so we are blocked out on the day we get there.

Carnation cafe sunday I think that is the only one I can do.

I want to echo Tink's comment: it was great meeting you Cheryl! Hope you had a great time at Mouse Adventure. Did you make it on/off Tom Sawyer's Island? Here's hoping it won't be quite so hot for our ladies trip in a couple of weeks!

1] When are you arriving & Leaving? (Both date & Time frame) Goal is to leave around 10am Thursday which means 11am haha, depending on traffic I will get in around noon to 12:30. Leaving on Friday no earlier then 8pm

2] What is the first thing you're going to do when you arrive?check into room and then to DCA to either check out Food and Wine or to DL for JC and then NOS!

4] Will you be staying at the parks til they kick you out & busting the gates open in the morning? I am going to try to arrive early on Friday but will most likely close the parks Thursday and late evening Friday.

I'm local in Huntington Beach, so I'll be driving in every day. On Thursday, I'll be heading over after I pick up my daughter from school at 4. It'll probably be around 5:30 by the time I make it to DL. I'll be back for the entire day Friday, and at least most of the day Saturday. I'm still undecided about Sunday, it depends how many people are still around.

2] What is the first thing you're going to do when you arrive?
Find all of you!!! Then do a little happy dance that I'm at DL with NO kids! I love my daughter, but getting to do whatever I want for a few days is going to be amazing!

3] Will you be meeting up for meals? Which ones?
I'll be there for the Jazz Kitchen and Blue Bayou. I'd love to meet up for some Food and Wine events too if anyone wouldn't mind me tagging along?

4] Will you be staying at the parks til they kick you out & busting the gates open in the morning? I'm definitely up for staying late everyday, and will be there first thing at least on Friday. Saturday I'll probably meet up with everyone after breakfast.

5] Are you participating in the any tours? I'm on the VIP tour list!

A few other things- I'm thinking I can pick up a case or two of water at Costo and drop them at someone's hotel room? I can bring soda too, whatever you want! A few days before, I'll post a reminder and everyone can let me know what you'd like me to pick up and where I can deliver it, ok?

I hope it's not soo hot in a couple weeks! We went to the beach yesterday, and it was 92 degrees there, and 97 a few miles inland! It usually only gets that hot for a couple days in the summer. I can't believe it's so hot already. Even my dog was feeling it. He usually won't go in the ocean becuse it's cold, but yesterday, he dove right in and did a doggy paddle! Anaheim is hotter than by the beach too, so I was thinking about everyone at Dland yesteday hoping they weren't dying!

I think I saw your team yesterday?? Were you all wearing your green boas??

When we were in line for Haunted Mansion around 11:30am I saw 4 ladies wearing green boas. I would've loved to meet you but I never saw the green boas again .

It was really hot yesterday so we ended up heading over to DCA and doing some of the culinary demos. My son loves the Iron Chef on Food Network so we waited in line for an hour to watch Cat Cora's demo and then we got to meet her afterwards. She is a VERY nice person. As soon as I can find my digital camera's USB cord, I'll upload the photos on Shutterfly (along with my WDW vacation photos ).

I also lost my son a DL yesterday . We have been going to DL since my son was 1 and I have never lost any of my children . However yesterday when we were on our way down main street we stopped in a store while the parade was going on & we got seperated. My DD and I looked for him for 1/2 hour and we couldn't find him so I went to City Hall to see if he was at the child's lost and found. NOPE. I knew he wouldn't tell anyone he was lost since he is he's 12 1/2 and too cool to be lost. I felt a little stupid going in and saying I lost my 12 year old son, but they were very helpful and put out a APB to all the stores, rides, parking lot,...etc. Then they had a security member walk around with to see if we could find him. Within 5 minutes he was found . He was at the turnstiles trying to get back in, but I had his AP. They held him there until we got there. He said he was looking for change so he could call my cell phone .

1. I will be arriving Friday about an 1/2 hour before the Blue Bayou lunch and leaving Sunday after the Carnation Cafe lunch/dinner.

2. The first thing I'm going to do is park my car at HOJO and then haul butt to BB for our lunch.

3. The meals I'm doing are BB, Goofys, HOB and Carnation Cafe.

4. I'm not really sure. I'm a morning person so I'll probably be at the parks at opening since I love how uncrowded they are. But if I'm really having a good time I also stay until park closing.

5. I'm doing the VIP tour on Friday .

How did your team do at MA?

Hi Lesley--it was so fun to meet you and the other gals too! I can't believe you wore those feather boas all day in that heat! (Ladies, I hope it cools off in time for the Ladies' Only trip--it was HOT) Lesley--you guys were hard to miss (LOL).

I don't think we did very well--we spent WAY too much time on the Island trying to solve that quest (almost half of the allotted time). The quests that we actually did solve went very well . . . . we never did get to several of them including the chemistry (ugh) one. Next time we will have a different strategy if we can get one of our group to FOCUS. He had us go ride Peter Pan trying to find the answer to the island quest (which I knew was wrong but oh well). Luckily (I guess) we were working with another study group on that quest (which was allowed) and they found the answer (we think).

How did your group do? P.s. I pm'd you too.

So I'm assuming, since there is nothing listed, we're all on our own for Dinner on Friday night?

I'll be leaving but I wouldn't mind having a "farewell" dinner on Friday if anyone is interested (of course it would help if you met me first)
