Disneyland Gift Cards

We booked DLH with Alaska and the package included a $150 Disney Gift card that says it can only be used at select participating locations at Disneyland& Disney Store.
I am wondering if anyone has used them as payment for tours or charactor meals or is it strictly for merchandise?

Disneyland® Resort Theme Parks
Guest Services: The Disney Gift Card can be used to purchase admission tickets, annual passes, tours, and stroller and wheelchair rentals.

Disneyland® park: The Disney Gift Card can be used at any merchandise or food and beverage location except for fruit carts and outdoor vending locations, Names Unraveled, Jewel of Orleans, Silhouette Studio, Portrait Artists, Parasol Cart, Heraldry Shop, and Crystal Shops.

Disney's California Adventure® park: The Disney Gift Card can be used at any merchandise or food and beverage location except for Taste Pilots Grill, fruit carts and outdoor vending locations, Midway games, and Face Painting.

Disneyland® Resort Hotels
Present the Disney Gift Card at any of the Disneyland® Resort Hotel Front Desks as payment towards hotel room nights or accumulated purchases on your Resort charge. The Disney Gift Card can also be used at any Disneyland® Resort Hotel merchandise or restaurant locations. Not valid for Room Service.

Disneyland® Resort Mickey and Friends Parking Structure
The Disney Gift Card can be accepted as payment for Parking at the Mickey and Friends parking structure. Resort Hotel and the Downtown Disney® parking lots do not accept the Disney Gift Card.

Downtown Disney® District
The Disney Gift Card is not valid at Downtown Disney® District Operating locations except for World of Disney®, Marceline's Confectionery, and Disney's Pin Traders.

Walt Disney Travel Company - California
The Disney Gift Card is accepted as payment towards a Walt Disney Travel Company travel package. For information on Walt Disney Travel packages please call 1-866-470-5119.

Disneyland.com
Currently, the Disney Gift card is not valid for payment towards tickets, room nights and packages purchased online. This enhancement is coming soon.

In addition to the above locations, the Disney Gift Card cannot be used towards the following: Disney Dollars, Disney Gift Certificates, Disney Gift Cards, Disneyland Kennel Club, or lockers.

If they are a normal Disney giftcard, they can be used for character meals, and I just looked last night at the "how to use at DLR" page at DisneyGiftCard.com, and it does say that they can be used for tours.

We got a $20 Disney giftcard with our little Costco package, and it was nice to be $20 "up"! Can't imagine the fun of $150!
