17 days and the kids are still clueless, but DS8 is starting to smell a rat (namely me!).

LOL, trust me, I didn't intend to keep the secret this long. DH has to have hip surgery and we weren't sure if his orthopedic surgeon would let him go and we JUST got the go ahead last week. I didn't want to tell the girls in case the surgeon said no! Since we lasted this long, DH wants to wait until we get there to tell them.

I so happy for you that your DH dr cleared him to go!! I understand waiting. Of course my kids are older and it isn't as easy to hide things from them.

Down to 6 days now. I can officially say it's "Less than a week away".

However, now I'm starting to get really nervous. I totally HATE flying, I do it, but I HATE it. Usually I go to the doctor and have gotten a little "something" for the flight to and from wherever I am going. But this time I am flying with my 3 year old and don't feel comfortable feeling that "comfortable" with the help of my doctor. I just wish I was walking through the GCH hotel doors right now.

Only 24 hours to go! We fly out tomorrow morning and are surprising my dad. He knows that DH and I are coming but doesn't know that the boys are coming with us as they always stay home. I can't wait to see the look on his face tomorrow!
