Guys,
Over the last few years we have always gone to walt disney world in Orlando but to try something new and there is not a great deal opening in 2014 in orlando unlike 2015 we have decided to go to Disneyland California to try something new.

My questions are,
Where do you guys buy your park tickets, we like the look of the California ticket which gives us three days in Disneyland, one day sea world and one day universal studios but where do you buy from.?

Also do they offer any sort of dinning plans like in Orlando?

Thanks guys.

Check out the LA city pass for multi attractions. We couldn't find a decent deal for Disney and ended up going to Knott's instead, quite quiet midweek and some great rides.

LA is a huge place, pre book your taxi if you are out in Anaheim, it is around a $100 fare from the airport. Traffic is like nothing else I have seen, nose to tail six lanes traveling at 60 mph. Get a good satnav and preloaded your destinations, the roadsigns are not as good as Florida.

Can't remember where we bought ours from. It will have been somewhere like:

Or

Mouse savers have a page about it here:

Just Google and see which agents offer it, no big savings though as far as I know.

Don't know anything about dining plans there, we ate next to the hotel every night at Mimis Cafe, like Florida less than half the cost of dining inpark.

Ok thanks, we are hiring a car to get around whilst there.

We went last year and bought 5 day hopper tickets from Attraction Tickets Direct - they were the cheapest I could find and they were proper tickets too.

I can remember there was some sort of dining plan when we started researching our stay but IIRC there weren't any obvious advantages to buying it apart from paying in advance.

How long are you there for? It is worth seeing some of the California coast and Yosemite.

Been twice we still haven't. Saving that for when we are older and had enough of theme parks:rotfl:

Really? You went to California and did nothing other than Disney, twice?:happytv:

First time we did Disney, Seaworld, Universal & San Diego zoo, over 8 days.
Second time only there 5 days so only time to do Disney & a day in Hollywood to visit the Disney soda Fountain & walk of fame.
Not been for long enough to explore yet, maybe next time.
