I had heard at the time that it was going to continue into 2024. Not that it matters. We couldn't go any other time. Stupid college, lol.

Disney 100 pretty much ended in 2023.

And really it was like half the year. I felt vindicated that I pushed to get us to go to DL for a weekend in Spring of 2023. I was worried that the D100 stuff would dwindle in summer and especially during Halloween/Christmas, and then that it wouldn't return the following year. DH kept saying no way , but I was basically right!

This isn’t exactly news, but finally saw Tapestry of Happiness last weekend and I really loved it. Like “will make it a priority to get back regularly” loved it— it’s total fan service for those of us who fondly remember and love Disneyland in the 80s (and probably before, but I only date back to the 80s) and it’s only 5 minutes.

You do need to be cool with the Jonas brothers Celebrate Happy theme though (which I also love).

I was wondering, too, but I think they don't celebrate the birthdays unless it's a milestone one. Iger has said he doesn't want people thinking Mickey is old

Interesting. I was there one year on Mickeys Bday and they had a special cavalcade with rare characters, I cant remember how old Mickey was turning though. I had planned to be there when he turns 100 but will they ignore it so he doesnt come off as old

There is a special birthday cavalcade.

Regarding the 70th, today's cavalcade has the same costumes, dancers, and float as the 70th cavalcade (including Duffy). I believe they redecorated the float for Halloween so it is nice to see that is back to being decorated for the 70th.

I saw that Mickey and Minnie dug out their 90th birthday costumes at the Magic Kingdom today. No idea if they did the same at DL.
