Disneyland 70th speculations and news

To follow up on the D23 experience of "Walt Disney - A Magical Life", I thought it was amazing.

We were given a $7 dining card for coffee, an 8x12 attraction poster, and a wrist band for the preferred viewing of either PTN or WOC.

After being seated for the attraction, there was a live on-stage interview with a couple of the Imagineers involved with the creation of the attraction (sorry but I can't remember their names) which was great.

Then the attraction ran, which I thought was wonderful start to finish. All in all well worth the $75 per ticket to me.

Jeff Shaver-Moskowitz and Becky Cline (who runs the Disney archives).

For PTN, it is the Small World viewing area. I thought there would be seats but it is standing only. Honestly, crowds are so low tonight, it would have been just as easy to grab our own seats. The description says "PTN and fireworks viewing," but the D23 section isn't facing Small World. We will have to move to find our own place to watch the fireworks and projections.

That's kind of cheeky.

Well I am now kinda glad my trip got postponed and I can see Walt. I mean not happy my back and hips decided to try to kill me- but ya know- silver lining. How are keys looking?
If you mean the big plastic key that lights up they were plentiful all over

Much better. Not 100% and I am going to have to be okay taking a slower pace than my typical solo trip (I once went to an MK after hours until 2am and then rope dropped Hollywood studios the next morning...) but I am going! My priorities for this trip are the 70th things and less go go ride so I think all will be well.

I'm so glad! Have a wonderful trip :)

I was just in there talking with the artists and saw that crazy key!
Is Thomas Kincade still there today? They moved everything out of the middle room for the TK art. I'm waiting to see if they put back an item I was looking at.

Yes, the Thomas Kincade studio artists (4 today) are in that center room. Most still there tomorrow (Sunday) too.
