Disneyland 60th Diamond Celebration iPhone 6 Case?

Hey all,

I am currently having a heck of a difficult time finding a certain case for the iPhone 6 that was sold under the D-Tech brand during the Disneyland 60th Diamond Celebration. I'll insert a photo below but to describe its details a bit... it is black in color and has the retro Disneyland "D" logo with the 60th logo overlapping and Sleeping Beauty Castle tinted in blue inside of the letters and numbers. It also has the Disneyland Resort title below that. Take a look, here:

I've attempted at sending an email to DeliverEARS about the availability of this item but I have yet to hear back from them on it. I've tried searching eBay but its appearance there (at least in the iPhone 6 or 6s versions that I require) is few and far between. Most I see that become available now and then are for the 6 Plus. Does anybody know if Disney currently has these left over in their shops at the Disneyland Resort or have they all been liquidated at this point? If they are no longer available, would any DISers out there potentially have one kicking around they wouldn't mind parting with or an extra one they picked up with the purpose of selling? To be honest, I am kind of at my wits end trying to hunt this thing down! Any information or other assistance would be greatly appreciated!

A ton of merchandise went to the outlets outside CA (in FL and east coast). If you're on Facebook, there are a few groups that have pick-ups at the outlets.

I went to Company D a month ago and don't recall seeing this case there.

I picked one up earlier this year. I've tried a few of the custom cases from D-tech but they have all started to come apart, where the back meets the sides. I'm hoping this one will last longer but will need to stick with it for at least a few more months because I'm not upgrading until the iPhone 8/X next year.

Not sure about that exact 60th case but Off the page in DCA still had a selection of 60th cases in stock last week. I got one of the ones with the loose diamonds inside. Good luck!

Did you really? I called in before I created this thread and at first the CM who answered said she was pretty sure there was nothing 60th left but would check. She ended up saying that she did have it but she was somehow confusing the one I described for the one with crystals you guys are describing. I had to re-confirm the design with her again to make doubly sure... and low and behold, it was the wrong case she had located. I tried describing the case to her again, but she just said "Oh, no. We don't have it." I also tried emailing them with a photo, but I haven't received any responses from them and I don't expect I will considering it has been over a couple weeks at this point.

Unless somebody would recommend that I call Merchandise Guest Services back and let them know that there's stock currently at the parks? Does that even matter to them? Are they even located on-site? I thought they'd be located at a central warehouse for their merchandise or something along those lines and may have liquidated most of their 60th merch... I see there is currently a used version of this case online, but the lettering is a bit too banged up and scuffed for my liking. It is seemingly impossible to find this thing NIB. I'm at my wit's end trying to find this and am kicking myself for not picking it up when I was actually there for the 60th.

Thoughts??

UPDATE: I called Merchandise Guest Services again this afternoon and another CM confirmed that they're all out except for the Swarovski crystal castle and one other standard 60th design you can purchase on Disney Store's website. Looks I am out of luck in terms of going through Disney's mail order.

ETA: Oops. I see the case is for an iPhone 6 plus and I think you want the regular case. Keep checking. Disney things have the oddest way of showing up when you think you'll never find them. Do you know anyone on the east coast? Or in the upper midwest? I've read posts from people saying that the Disney outlets in those areas got lots of 60th merchandise. Maybe someone will find your phone case.

The OP might want to contact the eBay seller. The seller has listing for several styles of Disney iPhone cases, and likely is buying at a Disney Outlet or Company D.

I would also check Disney Store outlet stores in the clearance section. I've seen in the past items from parks that were not dated in the clearance section. Its worth a try at least. Best of luck finding your case.

I'd keep watching Ebay. Set up a search and just wait to be notified. Surely someone with a iphone 6 will upgrade to a 7 and decide to sell their case.

I agree with mom2rtk that you're best/only choice at this point is the re-sale market. DLR stopped carrying the 60th merchandise very soon after the 60th ended and I haven't seen that particular phone case in quite a while. Along with eBay, you can also keep an eye on Amazon (Markeplace) or any other vendors that has a re-sale market.

Okay... I'll keep my eye out as best I can. It really seems as though this one seems to be the most unlikely to pop up. After the celebration, I haven't seen barely a ghost of a trace when searching for this particular case... It feels like I am praying for a miracle here! Haha...

Other fan boards have marketplace type boards where people can post requests for items or try to sell things. Go on as many fan boards as you can to get the word out that you are looking for this item. Make sure to keep checking for any messages from these boards. You never know when someone might know someone who knows someone who has decided to sell a case...
