In regards to what to put for the organization name if enrolling in the Individaul Enrollment program, Ashley Forbes said to use either your home school name (if you have one) or your family name.

I am so thankful for this forum!!!:thumbsup2

Due to finances we were not planning a Disney trip this year. I found this forum, started reading and doing the math.

I showed my DH & Dkids. Kids were excited about the classes. DH was excited about the savings. But he does not fool me. He wants to go to a class as bad as the kids do.

My DD15 wants to be an Animator. (Her drawing is incredible.) She dreams about working for PIXAR. I hope I can get her in an Animator Magic program.

I spoke with my hair dresser this morning. She will not color my hair again this year. I'll do it myself. I will save enough $'s to cover the cost of the YES program. Now, that is just crazy.:rotfl:

I went on line today and register for an August Class. Now to wait for the confirmation.:rolleyes1

The best news is my DS & DD have no idea we will be going.

We are just going to tell DS & DD we are going to Grandpa & Grandmom's for the week. They live half way. Only we will keep driving!!!! :woohoo:

(We are coming back to spend half the week at my in-laws.):goodvibes

Thanks again for all the great information!:worship:

There is no "catch", but there are limitations that people might not like. The dates are limited, tickets are expiring, they have a limited use window, can't be upgraded, etc. Also, some people do not like "wasting" a park day to take a class. The class is several hours and you will not get fast passes, etc.

This time instead of just blurting out my question I
thought I would I would do a search. :rotfl2::thumbsup2

The above is the only mention of Fast Passes I could find. Is this still the case? These tickets do not get you Fast Passes in the parks? :(

You can use the tickets to get fast passes, but you can't be running around getting fastpasses while you are in class.

I have a question about 5 day premeium tiickets it says "Five days' admission to Walt Disney World® Resort Theme Parks with the opportunity to visit multiple Parks on the same day, as many times as you'd like. Five visits to your choice of Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park. And one (1) Disney Youth Education Series program."

Does this mean you can use the five water park visits on seperate days from the park visits?

Yes.

Yes, you can do water parks on different days. So a 5 day premium could equal 10 days of fun!

Also does anyone know how to change my user name so it is not my email?

Unfortunately, you can not change user name but if I were you I would create another one. Since you did use your entire email address, I would do "contact us" and see if they could delete that account for you.

We are going for 11 days, and got 6 day premium tickets! We plan to do 3 days at the waterparks, and one day at DTD and Disneyquest:)

I am really confused now.
I've read several posts from the last few days about the summer classes being open for individual enrollment, but as far as I can tell, nothing on the website has changed.

If I go to the June 14th programs and try to sign up, it brings me to the page that says it's for "organized groups of 10 or more". This is the same thing it was doing when I first looked at the website in December and Ashley said that it was because individual enrollment wasn't open yet.

So what has changed?

Did anyone get an email from Ashley?

Why are some people saying summer classes are open for individual enrollment now?

Here is the link for the individual classes in the summer just click on continue and put in the classes you want. As for winter I have no idea. I don't believe they are available yet

We will be there (hopefully) for the June 14th session. I had a :scared1::eek: moment. What happens if we miss the class? I think that it is part of the whole scarey thing with me. I think that I think too much.

But really, what if??

If you miss the class, you may not be able to participate again. My son missed his last year. I called the leader that morning to let her know. He had strep, so I kept the doctor forms in case I had a problem signing up this year.

Well, we organized a group with the L.E.A.P. group name and we were denied by Disney. :sad1: I guess they're not allowing the more "private/general" groups anymore? The guy I talked to kept pushing open enrollment, but there is no open enrollment for the dates we are there... otherwise, we would've done that to begin with. :confused3

I wonder if it's because of $, or are there that many "sick" attendees at roll call. I hope that those of us that would like to participate as the program was intended aren't going to be penalized because of those who are abusing it.

Unfortunatley I think it is because of to many "sick" attendees for groups that are formed of people from different places. I called a friend this morning that is a director at Disney in a different department and asked her to look into it for me to see what she could find out. I am really disappointed as there are several classes we would like to take.

I don't know. I did tell him that our kids had done the class before, through the LEAP group, and we all showed up for the class. :confused3

I hate to be a pain, because I'm sure this has been asked previously, but we are going to be a group of 4 adults, 4 school-aged kids, and 2 five-year olds (that probably won't attend a YES class). So, if we sign the 4 school-aged kids up, can we all buy tickets through the YES program?
