Hi I was wondering if anyone was putting together a group for 7/3-7/9, 2011? I'm actually looking for 2 classes because of ages. One for my DSD who is 5 and one for my DD, she'll be 13 and DSS who is 12.

Thanks!

Oh and if anyone is putting a group together for Nov. 27-Dec. 3, 2011, I would be interested in it for my DD13. :)

we are looking to get a group together, but me or DH would defiantly need to be one of the chaperones.

I've heard from a few posters that there will not be open enrollment in November:sad2: My dates are flexible so I am thinking of changing to the last week in October...should there be open enrollment then?

okay so their are 4 that will be their Nov. 27th thru Dec 5th. Any one else? I was thinking of Wild by nature class. If we can get enough kids. it is age 7 to 15.

we will be their Nov 29th to Dec 5th. I will have an 8yr old and 4yr old. Would love to get a group together for DD. A friend will be their at the same time and she has an 8yr old DD as well.

Sounds good to me. Do you know how many are required to have a group? I will also need to be a chaperone. I think I may call WDW later today or tomorrow to get some more info about the program and overviews especially the chaperone rules. Feel free to pm me anytime. I kinda get lost in this thread.

I found out there is no individual open enrollment in Nov and Dec by emailing the contact on their website. She replied within two days and was very helpful. If it's not listed on the website I'd just email them so that you can try to make plans now.

I think its 10. If you get the info let me know. It's hard for me to be on the phone right now. I have 4 week old twins who never fail to both want to eat when I am on the phone,

This is fine with me. I'd love to be a chaperon, but my DD will be 13, so if it doesn't work out that way; I'm fine with her going on her own. We may let her bring a friend, but we're still discussing it!

First awwww :lovestruc and congrats!! I'll probably call tomorrow when I get a minute to myself and have all of my questions written down. Anything you want me to ask for you?

thanks, As far as questions I think just need to confirm how many, and chaperones. Also is their a deadline for creating this class by. Need to know how long we have to get other people in it.

I have been a chaperone on a dozen YES programs, and I was always told the chaperone ratio is 1 adult per 5 students. Parents that are not chaperoning can be close by, but getting into the park at 7:15 may be a problem. The program guide/leader usually walks the program participants into the park, and regular guests must wait until the park opens. I once had a child participating in the Properties of Motion at MK at 7:15 am with our group. His mother made an early breakfast reservation at the Castle for herself and his younger sister (I think it was 8 or 8:15 am), and they finished up in time to ride a few rides in Fantasyland before we were done at 10-ish. It would be easier to follow a group if the program begins after the park opens(such as a 1 pm Wild by Nature or a 9 am class). Most groups do go "behind the scenes" a little, where day guests do not usually go. I just wanted to throw my experience into the conversation.

That is exactly what we are doing. The older kids are doing a class in MK starting at 7:15 on July 11, and the baby and I are having breakfast with Cinderella at 8:05. I plan to ride as much as we can in FL before the big kids get out-it will be all about the baby for a couple of hours!princess:

If you want more information, please feel free to PM me.
Our 7-9 confirmed kiddos range in age from 5-12 so....we are thinking the Science of Synergy at Epcot is the only one to accomodate all those ages.

Getting so excited about the possibility of a trip!:banana:

I heard that they have coupons for breakfast (around 10.00) and lunch (around 15.00). Does anyone know what counter servicesrestaurants and/or what it includes? Thanks for your help.

Just back- someone asked about finger scans. Mostly no but did get scanned 2x.

I just got off the phone with a CM from the Yes program. He told me that they only sell five day tickets. If I want more days than that it is a special request, which may or may not be honored. He then told me that under that exception we might get seven or ten day tickets, but not nine, as they do not have a nine day ticket.

He quoted me a price of $254.54 for a seven day hopper for an individual enrollment in the YES program.

I am really confused and rather disappointed as these prices are not at all in line with the price of $173 for seven day hoppers a friend of mine got via YES.

I am totally confused now.

We were able to get 8 day Premium Hoppers for just over $800 for four tickets. Ours arrived just before Christmas for a February date.

I would recommend filling out the form - they will not charge without calling you first. Then confirm with whomever calls you.

I'm wondering the same thing, would love to hear from anyone who has used the meal coupons/vouchers! I'm including some posts with questions and ideas from a few months back:

So here's the skinny
/snip/
Meal Coupons (All Counter Service)
$15 per coupon and includes entree side dessert and drink

I thought the coupons looked expensive until I started looking at menus! If you buy a drink for $2.19, soup/salad/fries for $3.49, dessert for $3.59 and any entree for $7.99 then you're already up to $17+. If you buy a $10.49 entree like the 1/2 slab of ribs at Flame Tree BBQ or a $13.99 entree like the shawarma chicken & lamb platter at Tangierine Cafe then it's an even better value. I have to say I'm planning to feed a couple of people with one of those meal coupons. Will have to do a little pre-planning, though--some of the CS places don't have much in the way of sides or desserts.

But I don't think you'd get to order a side with the ribs or the shawarma platter. They're both considered meals that already come with sides, I think. So, a $7.99 burger and fries is a meal and you wouldn't get an extra side dish. Offhand I can't think of any CS entrees that don't already come with fries. I think you could ask for something without the side(s) it comes with on the menu. Maybe then you could choose a different side.

So...Flame Tree Ribs meal $10.49 + dessert $3.59 + drink $2.49 (if you can get a large, you can with DDP) = $16.57 + .99 tax = $17.56

Pecos Bill's deluxe burger with fries $9.09 + dessert $3.59 + drink $2.49 = $15.17 + .91 tax = $16.08

I think they could be a good deal on the more expensive CS options, like the Tangeriene shawarma combo, the Flame Tree ribs, Cosmic Ray's chicken and rib combo...*IF* you would order dessert anyway. Take away the dessert and you don't really save any money.

Just back- someone asked about finger scans. Mostly no but did get scanned 2x.

So you do need to make sure each person has their own ticket?

Just curious, because we'd probably be splitting up, with some of our party going to different parks later in the week...

We are signed up for feb 14th YES program How Things Move. I talked to Ashley on friday and she said the class was full and she would be sending out an email confirmation with all the info. Has anyone going that day recieved anything? We cant wait to go>
