Yes, there is a group that formed on it's own, but not for that age ... I have 2 kids in the same grade as yours, which is how I know. It appears as though the only YES series that will work for our little ones is "How Things Move" for ages 5 to 8 and "Synergy in Science" for ages 6 to 11, I don't know of any groups with that age at all that are already formed and they don't have any dates up on the YES site for those groups yet either.

I have two kids that fit the ages for the groups you referenced and have been been trying to search for them w/ no luck, can you tell me where you saw them them?

:goodvibesThanks!

Thank you! Were those the only resorts offered, or only examples? :goodvibes

It looks like, from the original email, that those are the only resorts offered. (She mentioned that's where the rooms are blocked.) I would check around though because without running the math Disney's current room-only special may be a better deal.

Yeah definitely check around. That ASSp rate is about what I paid last year for POP for the two night before my OKW stay. And I think that meal coupon rate is high too, but we do the DDP, so maybe it's not?

For me, renting DVC points and doing the Dining plan works better. But if I could get POR prices with the DDP, that would be the best option. There are 5 of us, and Riverside sleeps 5, in a DVC we have to get a 1 bedroom.

And yep those were the only 2 lodging options.

I'm wondering the same thing--I thought the coupons looked expensive until I started looking at menus! If you buy a drink for $2.19, soup/salad/fries for $3.49, dessert for $3.59 and any entree for $7.99 then you're already up to $17+. If you buy a $10.49 entree like the 1/2 slab of ribs at Flame Tree BBQ or a $13.99 entree like the shawarma chicken & lamb platter at Tangierine Cafe then it's an even better value. I have to say I'm planning to feed a couple of people with one of those meal coupons. Will have to do a little pre-planning, though--some of the CS places don't have much in the way of sides or desserts.

Ok, I know this my be a very dumb question. So I hope that someone will be willing to help me. To my credit I am working a double shift today at the hospital, so my brain is a little tired.

We are a family of three (2 adults/1 child) and looking at signing up for the Individual youth series at Magic Kingdom (Haunted Mansion). The tickets we are looking at are the 3 day starter package which is priced at $126.36. Is this the cummulative price for the package or is it per day?

Also, I noticed that several people were mentioning food and hotel discounts. Do we book these separate or when we go to book the tickets are these add-ons?

Thank you.

The price is per person, but includes all 3 days.

Ok, another quick question. Can both adults receive that price even though we will only have one child with us?

Thank you for the help.

I'm excited that they have dates for next summer!:goodvibes

I asked this on the Family Board, but haven't received a response.

We're headed to WDW in May 2011. We'd like to go on the YES program, but the individual enrollment isn't going during May. Are we out of luck? Are there still classes that we could join that are not part of the individual enrollment? I'm a little confused.

But I don't think you'd get to order a side with the ribs or the shawarma platter. They're both considered meals that already come with sides, I think. So, a $7.99 burger and fries is a meal and you wouldn't get an extra side dish. Offhand I can't think of any CS entrees that don't already come with fries. I think you could ask for something without the side(s) it comes with on the menu. Maybe then you could choose a different side.

So...Flame Tree Ribs meal $10.49 + dessert $3.59 + drink $2.49 (if you can get a large, you can with DDP) = $16.57 + .99 tax = $17.56

Pecos Bill's deluxe burger with fries $9.09 + dessert $3.59 + drink $2.49 = $15.17 + .91 tax = $16.08

I think they could be a good deal on the more expensive CS options, like the Tangeriene shawarma combo, the Flame Tree ribs, Cosmic Ray's chicken and rib combo...*IF* you would order dessert anyway. Take away the dessert and you don't really save any money.
