No, you do not. You can get your tickets at DTD guest services. That is where we picked ours up a few weeks ago.
That is great news! Now where is that?

Actually got my DS in the Captivating Moments: Images with Impact class on Wednesday August 28.I had seen the class added a couple weeks ago and was really hoping that it would stay open and it did! I'm thinking it stayed open for so long because it only shows up when you plug in your dates, its not in the main program listing.

My 14 year old did this class June 13. The instructor covered a lot of material in a little bit of time. My husband took photography in high school and college and said it was a really well done course.
Be sure your son understands his camera well. We had planned on using one camera but then switched it out for another at the last minute due to battery issues. My son said he wishes he had a little more time to mess with the camera he used before class time.

About the 8 days vs. 5 days, here is what the website says where you look at the ticket packages:
Eight days admission to Walt Disney World® Resort Theme Parks with the opportunity to visit multiple Parks on the same day, as many times as you'd like. Five visits to your choice of Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park. And one (1) Disney Youth Education Series program.
Hmm, that's a bummer, especially since the receipt from Disney says "Eight visits to your choice of Disney's Blizzard Beach Water park, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park." I wonder if since the receipt says it we can still ask for 8 days? If not, I may have to tweak our itinerary a little bit. Any more reports on what others have actually received?

Did they move it? Was near Ghiradelli on the other side as I recall.
I have a question about the tickets - can they be applied to your KTTW card? In other words can you go to the concierge and ask them to apply them to your KTTW card? I ask this because with just "regular" tickets one doesn't have access to EMH. Thanks!!
They can't be added. You can still use EMH hours. Just show your room key.
