I always tape the parade and watch it later so I can fast forward the commericals

Then you must have fast-forwarded the entire parade.

I'm sure it is all taped in advance and edited, they want to get the best product for the public to view. They do things like this when they tape certian ice skating specials. I went to see Smuckers Stars On Ice in Lake Placid-the show they tape and televise later, and after the show ended they did several retakes of certian performances, because people did fall and make mistakes and they have even been known to do retakes the next day and pull people off the street to pose as audience members. So it wouldn't surprise me if they do the same thing with the christmas parade at Disney. I always wondered why those professional skaters never messed up during the TV specials-now I know!!

Yes, yes, yes, the parade is taped for our consumption at a later date! My family and I were at the Magic Kingdom on December 5th and were asked to be part of the small audience that stands along Main Street. After watching 45 minutes of Wayne Brady singing off key, we finally left. As we walked throughout the park, we would see portions of the parade move from the behind Splash Mountain, through Liberty Square and down to Main Street where they would then park. The TV crew would then remind all the guests to be excited when they started to tape and evryone would jump around and yell, then stop, then do it again, then stop. It was an all day long affair. Way to much for me to stomach. I later found out that Regis and Kelly were going to be their the following day to tape their entire show, only to have it edited it later! What a joke. Just another Eisner-fication that I noticed while on vacation!!!

I don't mind them pre-taping so much as I mind that the show STINKS!
